The Spicy SKS (Squid, Krill & Shrimp) has been developed without compromise, combining premium marine ingredients with advanced nutritional principles to create a true long-term food bait rather than simply another attractive boilie.
At the heart of the recipe is an exceptional blend of Premium Norwegian LT94 Fishmeal, CPSP90 Pre-Digested Fishmeal, Premium Krill Meal, Squid Meal, Premium Shrimp Hydrolysate, Genuine CLO, Crunchy Kelp Meal and our own carefully balanced blend of Acid Casein, Rennet Casein, Calcium Caseinate, Whey Protein and Egg Albumen. These highly digestible protein sources provide an outstanding amino acid profile and deliver genuine nutritional value that carp can efficiently utilise.
To further enhance digestibility and long-term feeding confidence, we’ve incorporated premium functional ingredients including Bioflavex®, Hi-Nuc hydrolysed yeast, natural Betaine, vitamins and minerals, and our own in-house sweetener system, developed to maximise feed intake. Under our study conditions, this sweetener system produced an approximately 20% increase in feed uptake. These specialist ingredients are more commonly associated with high-performance aquaculture feeds than traditional carp baits, supporting digestion, nutrient utilisation and prolonged, confident feeding.
Our signature spicy profile is created using our own blend of chilli products, including Kingfisher Red (Natural) at a high inclusion rate, giving the bait its rich deep red colour and subtle warming spice that perfectly complements the natural marine ingredients.
Manufacturing is just as important as formulation. Our bespoke binder system allows us to cook every batch at lower temperatures, helping preserve delicate amino acids and naturally occurring nutrients that can be damaged during conventional boilie production. Every finished bait is then vacuum infused under low pressure with our exclusive liquid package containing MegaMino, hydrolysed marine proteins, liquid yeasts, amino acids, vitamins and minerals. Rather than simply coating the outside of the bait with powders, this process draws attraction deep into the core, allowing it to release gradually from the inside out for a longer-lasting food signal.
With extremely low levels of food grade concentrated flavours (based on taste, not aroma), the Spicy SKS relies on the natural attraction of its premium ingredients to create a subtle yet incredibly effective food bait that carp quickly recognise and return to with confidence.
Please Note: Due to the high inclusion of soluble ingredients and our low-temperature manufacturing process, these boilies are intentionally produced on the softer side. If using a throwing stick at range, we recommend air-drying the bait beforehand.
