Hemp Seed is a very well known fishing bait that has stood the test of time for all types of fishing, used on most waters hemp has produced some fantastic results catching a wide variety of fish. With struggling to source our premium cleaned and graded Chinese (much larger) seed, we are now also offering the French seed (smaller seed). Hemp seed offers a very good protein content 30%+, full of essential amnio acids and not forgetting oily (great lipid/energy source) you can see why this is extremely attractive to ALL coarse fish. This pineapple flavour is another huge fruit favourite and has often been the flavour used in the colder months particularly for high-attract hook baits when used with N-Butyric acid. However, it is also a proven fish catcher throughout the summer.
Recommended inclusion levels are 5-10ml per kg base mix. When using a new flavour we always advise creating a small batch of baits and starting with the lower recommended level, you can then add more going forward until you achieve your desired aroma.
For high attract pop ups & wafters we recommend adding up to 5 ml per 1 egg mix, some flavours are stronger than others so don’t be afraid to experiment.
When adding to your own glugs & liquids we recommend adding at 2% – 5% (5ml – 12ml flavour – 250ml glug), again when using a new flavour we always advise starting with the lower recommended level, you can then add more going forward until you achieve your desired aroma.
To boost your hook baits, you can use our PVA friendly Betaine liquid, DMPT liquid or Glycerine (all found under liquid foods) to dilute your chosen flavour down. Some anglers like to boost their hook baits with neat flavour whilst some like to dilute the strength down. We recommend adding the flavour at 5% (12ml flavour – 250ml booster liquid). This % can always be increased until you achieve your chosen strength. You can also add a wide variety of liquid foods etc adding more attraction to your unique booster.
