Yellow Maize
A cost effective loose feed that can be introduced to your swim in larger quantities without causing harm to the fish, also a great visual to help bring fish down to your baited area. Great for keeping fish feeding for longer periods.
CAUTION: All dry particles and nuts will absorb water and expand once submerged, for this reason they MUST all be prepared correctly (Soaked for a given time and cooked for a given time). Failure to prepare properly can be deadly to fish.
TO PREPARE: Soak for a minimum of 24 hours then boil for 30 minutes.
Note: Once cooked you can also add liquid foods, oils or bait additives of your choice to add even more attraction.
HNV Tigernut Base Mix

Over the last few years, we have worked tremendously hard sourcing only the highest quality ingredients, liquids, and additives available from all over the globe. Many of our new products are now exclusive to AA Baits, which allows us to formulate and offer the very best, premium quality in-house mixes, available on the market. That being said, we do keep a handful of specially sourced products close to our chest, making our mixes stand out from the rest 😉. In order for all our customers to receive a premium mix at a very fair price, we have always supplied direct. Cutting out the middle man allows us to operate using all our finest ingredients and stimulants. This also allows our finest products to be used at optimal levels.
HNV Tigernut base mix is made using pure tigernut products, In-house blend of nut meals, Peanut protein (soluble), balanced and nutritional proteins making this a very attractive sweet mix. Suitable all year round this is a great addition to your bait armoury.
We recommend the inclusion of tigernut extract in the bait at levels between 30 / 50ml per kg of dry mix.
Use approximately 8 eggs per Kg of dry mix.
All our base mix’s are tried, tested and roll perfectly. We use only the highest quality ingredients available, in all optimum levels formulating an excellent food source which in turn keeps the fish coming back for more as they become familiar with the nutritional value of the bait.
Contains: Large amount of Tigernut Flour, In-house blend of nut meals, Peanut protein (soluble), CLO, Hemp Powder, In house blend of high end milk powders, Egg albumen and Betaine to name just a few ingredients in this mix.
Our mixes do arrive ready to roll, but many of our customers do add their own ingredients and additives to make it a unique formulation. Please bear in mind altering the mix may affect the rolling so some trial and error might be required depending on the products being added.

TIP: When making your own boilies it gives you the chance to NOT boil some. This allows you to have baits that haven’t been boiled, which in turn looses some goodness. But most of all it allows these baits to break down and disperse all the soluble attractors and feed stimulants into your swim much faster. These baits would require being kept in a bucket/container to save being crushed/broken once dried. Again these baits wouldn’t be hard enough to be used in a throwing stick.
Molasses
Molasses is a black syrup which is derived from the sugar processing industry. It is a naturally sweet, slightly liquorice-smelling product. We have opted for lower viscosity molasses which has a higher proportion of liquid co-products, slightly higher protein level and also allows for better handling during the colder months.
Great multi-range product, useful for spod/stick/base mixes etc.
The recommended inclusion level is up to 30ml per kg base mix, depending on the amount of other liquids you might be adding.
All our liquid foods are of the highest grade available on the market.
DMPT
Dimethyl propiothetin (DMPT) is an algae metabolite. It is a natural sulfur-containing compound (thio betaine) and is considered the strongest attractor available. In several lab- and field tests DMPT comes out as the best feed inducing stimulant ever tested. DMPT not only improves feed intake, but also acts as a water soluble hormone-like substance. DMPT also enhances the ability to cope with stress associated with catch / transportation of fish and other aquatic animals.
Recommended inclusion level is 0.5g to 2g per Kg of base mix, (hook bait base mix only). Can be used up to 2g per Litre of liquid in bait soaks/dips. With this ultra-strong additive, less is more. If used too much the bait WILL NOT be taken.
Always use gloves, do not taste / ingest or inhale, keep away from eyes, pets and children.
Use only in hookbaits (lures) which will not be digested.
It is not allowed to be fed to fish and animals in general according to EU decree 1831/2003.
Molasses Meal
This high quality molasses meal is a coarse, moist meal, soaked in molasses. It has the distinctive treacle-like molasses aroma and a sweet, almost liquorice taste. To make molasses, the sugar cane plant is harvested, its leaves stripped and the juice is then extracted from the canes usually by crushing or mashing.
The Molasses Meal sinks to the bottom fast, producing a dark cloud/stain over the lake bed which oozes flavour/attraction.
Can be added at up to 50% to ground-baits , great mixed with the likes of Crushed Hemp, Ground pellet powders, milk powder, peanut meal etc (the list is endless) creating naturally stimulating mix’s that will release a micro-particle cloud containing salts, enzymes, amino acids, oils, sugars and trace elements that fish are naturally attract to, the particles will drift far and wide due to the water solubility of the mix.
Mixed Nut Meal
This Mixed Nut meal is is not only a valuable source of quality protein but is also a very attractive ingredient which has a deep nutty aroma, This premium nut meal contains Almonds (20%), Walnuts (20%) and Peanuts (60%).
This Mixed Nut Meal can be used in bird food, milk protein or fish meal baits to add a smooth aroma, texture along with great nutritional benefits.
Recommend inclusion level is up to 20% – (200g) per kg base mix.
Tigernut Extract
Tigernut extract is a sweet, nutty, completely natural liquid.
Great multi-range product, useful for spod/stick/base mixes etc.
The recommended inclusion level is up to 30ml per kg base mix, depending on the amount of other liquids you might be adding.

Semolina (Fine)
ineSemolina is a non-soluble product that helps to firm baits this is still widely used by individuals striving to produce a cheap effective bait.
Recommend inclusion level is up to 50% – (500g) per kg base mix.

This is far , far superior to absolutely any other in house versions other companies are offering. You just need to take one quick look at the spec sheet to see why, it contains vegetable proteins, cereals, egg products, breadcrumbs, calcareous marine shells, mawseed, fish oils and much more creating an outstanding product packed full of Minerals, vitamins and trace elements. One not to be missed.

Buckwheat has been gaining popularity lately, It is similar to hemp seed in the way it splits and reveals a white/grey inner. It is a highly attractive seed which supplies natural starch, vitamins, and minerals. Great for Carp, Bream, Roach & Tench .
