Description
Ultra-high buoyancy foam barrels are made specifically for use with Zig Kickers, but are also ideal as a buoyant hookbaits. The foam readily absorbs attractors and retains buoyancy indefinitely, making them useful for a myriad of hookbait applications. Zig Barrels are available in several classic successful zig colours, that include all Black, Brown, Black & Red or Black & Yellow barrels that maximize colour contrast between the hookbait and its aquatic surroundings. Zig Kickers
The Zig Kickers feature a natural looking, segmented curved kicker that improves the rig’s hooking power and consistently ensures secure hook holds. The pre-formed loop holds the Zig Barrel/foam close to the back of the shank, and also features a small hole, designed for the additional fleck of fiber or cellophane helping to create greater visual attraction. Forceps (TAF)
These 5” short nosed forceps will allow you to get a really firm hold of the hook, even if there is only a relatively small section of metal to grip onto. Gently rotate the hook, withdrawing it along the same angle that it penetrated, being mindful to be as gentle as possible, avoiding any damage.
Curved Kickers
Specially curved soft-rubber kickers that sleeve onto your hook to extend the shank and create a safe bent-hook effect for ultimate hooking capability. Available in green and brown in packs of 10.
Rig Putty
FTX Fluorcarbon Main Line
The mist grey colour tint applied to this exceptional, high-performance Fluorocarbon main line radically reduces visibility in situations where it is held off the lakebed by weed or steep-sided, topographical features. Standard white Fluorocarbon ‘glows’ in daylight as soon as it collects particulate, but the unique tint of FTX effectively absorbs most of this light, making it far less visible in this scenario.
For optimum knot strength with FTX, we recommend a five-turn Grinner, two-turn Tucked Blood, or Figure-of-Eight Loop knots (for loop-to-loop leader connections).
Available in 14lb (0.35mm) and 16lb (0.37mm) breaking strains on 200m and 600m spools. *600m spools have markers at 200m, 300m and 400m.
Noodle Kicker Long
The extended length, tapered shape and texture of these kickers creates an aggressive hooking mechanism.
The unique double kick means that the hook turns aggressively and then targets the strongest hook-holds inside the carps’ mouth.
Available in Medium (hooks 6-7) and Large (hooks 4-7) in green and brown.
