If you are looking for an out and out premium grade basemix, look no further. This particular basemix is based on a time-tested recipe we have been asked to supply for a couple of years. Our own unique version of this formulation incorporates a selection of our in-house made ingredients, enhancing an already exceptional recipe. By combining our Premium-grade LT-94 fishmeal with 100% soluble Actifish fishmeal, along with an additional in-house soluble fishmeal and fish additive, we’ve created an extraordinarily premium grade fishmeal basemix.

Complemented by an extensive array of high-end ingredients and additives, this mix is designed to maximize attraction and nutritional value. Our in-house bait boost powder, formulated for both attraction and nutritional benefits, has been included to promote growth, health, long-term food signals and feeding response. We believe this will quickly become a staple in our range, one that we find ourselves producing in large quantities, struggling to meet demand same as all our other basemixes.

Use approximately 9 eggs per kilogram of dry base mix for optimal binding. This base mix will produce dark brown/deep red boilies.

Our base mixes are tried, tested, and consistently roll perfectly. We exclusively utilize high-quality ingredients, carefully balanced at their optimal levels to produce an excellent food source. This ensures the bait remains highly attractive and nutritionally rich, encouraging fish to return as they become familiar with its benefits.

Tip: When creating your own boilies, consider leaving some unboiled. Unboiled baits retain more nutrients and soluble attractors, leading to faster dispersal and increased feeding activity in your swim. These baits should be stored in a bucket or container to prevent damage once dried. Keep in mind, unboiled baits will not be as hard, so they are best suited for use with a throwing stick.

Recommended inclusion levels are 4-8ml per kg base mix. When using a new flavour we always advise creating a small batch of baits and starting with the lower recommended level, you can then add more going forward until you achieve your desired aroma.

For high attract pop ups & wafters we recommend adding up to 4 ml per 1 egg mix, some flavours are stronger than others so don’t be afraid to experiment.

When adding to your own glugs & liquids we recommend adding at 2% – 5% (5ml – 12ml flavour – 250ml glug), again when using a new flavour we always advise starting with the lower recommended level, you can then add more going forward until you achieve your desired aroma.

To boost your hook baits, you can use our PVA friendly Betaine liquid, DMPT liquid or Glycerine (all found under liquid foods) to dilute your chosen flavour down. Some anglers like to boost their hook baits with neat flavour whilst some like to dilute the strength down. We recommend adding the flavour at 5% (12ml flavour – 250ml booster liquid). This % can always be increased until you achieve your chosen strength. You can also add a wide variety of liquid foods etc adding more attraction to your unique booster.

All our concentrated flavours are of the highest grade/quality available on the market. As with all concentrated flavours and liquids, use in a well ventilated area and always wear safety glasses.

This is a PG based flavour which has been created with nature identical flavourings and has been carefully created to give flavour as well as the aroma (smell), some flavours out there are mainly based on aroma chemicals (smell), with the flavour not given much thought.

Our in-house flavour enhancers are formulated using a blend of high-quality, food-grade, and feed-safe ingredients, including oleoresins, essential oils, premium liquid hydrolysates, sweeteners, NHDC sweetener, and our proprietary soluble amino acid stimulant. These formulations are designed to be highly attractive and effective.

All our flavours are based on taste rather than aroma. Flavours formulated based on aroma utilise completely different chemicals, but our focus remains on creating flavours that taste pleasant rather than just smelling strong. While personal preferences vary, this approach reflects our commitment to delivering safe effective products.

In addition, we exclusively offer flavours that are feed-safe, ensuring their suitability for inclusion in animal feeds and other applications. Our flavour house adhere’s strictly to regulatory standards, which does require removing certain chemicals from time to time, these chemicals are removed from the food & feed register for a reason. We follow the experts guidance and prioritise safety for both humans and aquatic life.

Our hook baits undergo an intensive, three-stage, high-pressure vacuum infusion process. We believe this method is the only way to truly infuse liquids deep into the core of each bait:

First stage: Infusion with our in-house amino acid, feed-inducing stimulant
Second stage: Infusion with a mixture of sweeteners and betaine anhydrous liquid
Third stage: Infusion with our premium-grade, in-house flavour enhancers

These baits continuously release food signals from the liquid foods and stimulants, offering extended attraction, while also generating an investigation signal via pH change from one of our infused liquids.

We also provide our in-house 30ml flavour enhancers, ideal for boosting all types of baits.

Our Premium Fishmeal Groundbait has been formulated with a mixture of high quality fishmeal’s, along with a mixture of highly attractive additives and feed stimulants. Not only does this mix contain Green lipped mussel it also includes Krill meal, both are absolutely rammed with attraction. They are extremely well know for there outstanding results. If that isn’t enough we have also added the most pungent and powerful soluble fishmeal attractor available, which has created a seriously devastating groundbait. It has been designed to hold together allowing it to reach the bottom of the lake bed before it starts to break down. Can be balled, cupped, used in method feeder, used as a stick mix or as a paste.

Tips

Remember our sweet whey powder can be used to add binding to any mix. Start by adding 5% – 50g per kg mix, you can then adjust accordingly. Adding more will increase the binding, vice versa adding less will decrease the break down time. This is to be added to the dry mix, then mixed very well before wetting.
We recommend slowly adding water/liquid additives to any mix, be careful not to add too much water. A nice fluffy texture that still breaks down is ideal. Too much water can make a mix go hard. More water can always be added if required, but it can’t be removed.
1L pump spray bottle is ideal for wetting mixes, also great for mixing liquid additives with water before wetting mix.
Once desired texture is achieved keep in an air tight bucket/container, this helps stop it from drying out.

Usage Guidelines

Buoyancy can be easily adjusted by altering the inclusion level to suit your specific hookbait recipe.

Usage Tip

For best results, start at 4–5% inclusion for wafters and 10% or higher for pop-ups. Always test your finished hookbaits in water, as buoyancy will vary depending on other ingredients used.

Black/Grey Crumb

*This is more of a dark grey colour, if you require jet back we advise using some of our carbon black dye (add to mix and shake very well in bag/container) to mix evenly.

Black breadcrumb is a fine breadcrumb that would lend itself to any application. Suitable for inclusion in any groundbait as a bulking agent or as a stand alone ground bait, due to its black colour it will darken off a mix to make it stand out less on the lake or riverbed. Bread crumbs have been used in the fishing bait industry since day one. Use up to 50% in groundbaits/stick mixes and up to 10% in boilie mixes.

Crushed Hemp seed

After feeding only the best quality hemp through a milling process the result is this excellent oily moist hemp meal. Crushed hemp particles are great for adding to groundbaits boilies and spod mixes as they have neutral and bouyant particles that break away in your swim. It really pulls fish in to the feeding area by leaking of natural oils and aromas that fish just can’t resist.

Full Fat GLM Powder

We are now extremely happy to be able to offer this pure full fat green lipped mussel powder, something we have been asked for more times than we can remember. This pure full fat version offers all the nutrient-rich natural oils alongside the highly attractive, very potent meaty shellfish aroma. This fantastic addictive is packed full of essential amino acids and contains a protein content in excess of 60%, This has been sourced from the leading producers in New Zealand, there isn’t a higher quality available.

Recommend inclusion level is up to 30g / 50g per kg base mix, some have also had great success with much higher inclusion rates.
