  Overview

  We are delighted to offer you our premium range of match wafters. Our team has dedicated extensive effort behind the scenes to carefully formulate each flavour enhancer and feed stimulant liquid pack, ensuring exceptional quality and performance.

  Our in-house flavour enhancers are meticulously crafted using a blend of food-grade and feed-safe ingredients, including oleoresins, essential oils, premium liquid hydrolysates, sweeteners, NHDC sweetener, and our proprietary soluble amino acid stimulant. All our flavours are designed based on taste rather than aroma. Flavour formulations based on scent are created with entirely different chemical compounds, but our focus has always been on delivering flavours that taste pleasant rather than simply smell strong. This is a personal preference, and we stand by our approach.

  Moreover, we only produce flavours that are feed-safe. All our products can be included safely in animal feed (free offerings). Our flavour house adhere’s strictly to regulatory standards, which does require removing certain chemicals from time to time, these chemicals are removed from the food & feed register for a reason. We follow the experts guidance and prioritise safety for both humans and aquatic life.

  Our hook baits undergo a proprietary, in-house, three-stage, high-pressure vacuum infusion process. We believe this method is the only way to deeply infuse liquids into every core of each bait:

  • First stage: Infusion with our in-house amino acid feed stimulant
  • Second stage: Infusion with our mixed sweeteners and betaine anhydrous liquid
  • Third stage: Infusion with our premium-grade flavour enhancers

   

  These baits are designed to release food signals through the liquid foods and stimulants for an extended period, thanks to our high-quality formulations, as well as trigger a pH shift signal from one of our infused liquids.

  We also offer our in-house 30ml flavour enhancers, ideal for boosting all types of baits.

  Over the last few years, we have worked tremendously hard sourcing only the highest quality ingredients, liquids, and additives available from all over the globe. Many of our new products are now exclusive to AA Baits, which allows us to formulate and offer the very best, premium quality in-house mixes, available on the market. That being said, we do keep a handful of specially sourced products close to our chest, making our mixes stand out from the rest 😉. In order for all our customers to receive a premium mix at a very fair price, we have always supplied direct. Cutting out the middle man allows us to operate using all our finest ingredients and stimulants. This also allows our finest products to be used at optimal levels.

  This extremely Nutty and creamy method mix starts to leak off attractors as soon as it enters the water. It contains a large percentage of Tigernut Flour, Tigernut Meal and our roasted peanut meal making a highly attractive nutty mix. It also contains a blend of feed stimulants, our own blend of milk powders and a secret cream enhancer. Making an absolutely devastating mix, you will have your hookbait situated in the middle of one of the best fish pulling mixes available on the market. Can be balled, cupped, used in method feeder, used as a stick mix or as a paste.

  Tips

  •  Remember our sweet whey powder can be used to add binding to any mix. Start by adding 5% – 50g per kg mix, you can then adjust accordingly. Adding more will increase the binding, vice versa adding less will decrease the break down time. This is to be added to the dry mix, then mixed very well before wetting.
  • We recommend slowly adding water/liquid additives to any mix, be careful not to add too much water. A nice fluffy texture that still breaks down is ideal. Too much water can make a mix go hard. More water can always be added if required, but it can’t be removed.
  • 1L pump spray bottle is ideal for wetting mixes, also great for mixing liquid additives with water before wetting mix.
  • Once desired texture is achieved keep in an air tight bucket/container, this helps stop it from drying out.

  Green Lipped Mussel Concentrate Flavour.

  Recommended inclusion levels are 5-10ml per kg base mix. When using a new flavour we always advise creating a small batch of baits and starting with the lower recommended level, you can then add more going forward until you achieve your desired aroma.

  For high attract pop ups & wafters we recommend adding up to 5 ml per 1 egg mix, some flavours are stronger than others so don’t be afraid to experiment.

  When adding to your own glugs & liquids we recommend adding at 2% – 5% (5ml – 12ml flavour – 250ml glug), again when using a new flavour we always advise starting with the lower recommended level, you can then add more going forward until you achieve your desired aroma.

  To boost your hook baits, you can use our PVA friendly Betaine liquid, DMPT liquid or Glycerine (all found under liquid foods) to dilute your chosen flavour down. Some anglers like to boost their hook baits with neat flavour whilst some like to dilute the strength down. We recommend adding the flavour at 5% (12ml flavour – 250ml booster liquid). This % can always be increased until you achieve your chosen strength. You can also add a wide variety of liquid foods etc adding more attraction to your unique booster.

  All our concentrated flavours are of the highest grade/quality available on the market. As with all concentrated flavours and liquids, use in a well ventilated area and always wear safety glasses.

  This is a PG based flavour which has been created with nature identical flavourings and has been carefully created to give flavour as well as the aroma (smell), some flavours out there are mainly based on aroma chemicals (smell), with the flavour not given much thought.

  Our premium shrimp hydrolysate has been formulated using 100% shrimp. This newly sourced shrimp hydrolysate is a much thicker liquid but still ultra soluble, much darker in colour with an extremely strong aroma. Yet another hydrolysate liquid we have been lucky enough to source from the leading global manufacturer of premium functional hydrolysates in liquid and powder form. This world wide multi-billon pound company produce only the best nutritional and extremely attractive hydrolysates available. This absolutely outstanding ultra soluble hydrolysate is packed with free form amino acids and also offers great palpability which in turn gives a much higher feed intake.

  These premium hydrolysate liquids go through an intense 5 stage process, where carefully selected natural enzymes are used to completely break down the protein into single amino acids, creating an ultra soluble and palatable hydrolysate. A good way to check the quality of the hydrolysate is to mix it in water. The hydrolysate should fully dissolve, leaving no deposits sitting at the bottom, once settled.

  The recommended inclusion level is up to 50ml per kg base mix, depending on the amount of other liquids you might be adding.

  This Superseed basemix has been formulated from various seeds including Meggablend, Clo and Hemp powder alongside Milk proteins to provide a valuable food source that is suitable for year round use.

  This mix will take on any flavour and colour combination well.

  It will take approximately 9 eggs per Kg of dry basemix.

  All our base mix’s are tried, tested and roll perfectly. We use only the highest quality ingredients available, in all optimum levels formulating an excellent food source which in turn keeps the fish coming back for more as they become familiar with the nutritional value of the bait.

  Contains: Meggablend, CLO, Hemp Powder, Milk & Egg proteins to name just a few ingredients in this mix.

  Our mixes do arrive ready to roll, but many of our customers do add their own ingredients and additives to make it a unique formulation. Please bear in mind altering the mix may affect the rolling so some trial and error might be required depending on the products being added.

  TIP: When making your own boilies it gives you the chance to NOT boil some. This allows you to have baits that haven’t been boiled, which in turn looses some goodness. But most of all it allows these baits to break down and disperse all the soluble attractors and feed stimulants into your swim much faster. These baits would require being kept in a bucket/container to save being crushed/broken once dried. Again these baits wouldn’t be hard enough to be used in a throwing stick.
