Tips
- Remember our sweet whey powder can be used to add binding to any mix. Start by adding 5% – 50g per kg mix, you can then adjust accordingly. Adding more will increase the binding, vice versa adding less will decrease the break down time. This is to be added to the dry mix, then mixed very well before wetting.
- We recommend slowly adding water/liquid additives to any mix, be careful not to add too much water. A nice fluffy texture that still breaks down is ideal. Too much water can make a mix go hard. More water can always be added if required, but it can’t be removed.
- 1L pump spray bottle is ideal for wetting mixes, also great for mixing liquid additives with water before wetting mix.
- Once desired texture is achieved keep in an air tight bucket/container, this helps stop it from drying out.

Black Pepper Oil
Black pepper oil is one of the more well known and widely used essential oils, this works well with savoury & fruity flavours, as stated in some of our concentrated flavours, but does also work well on it’s own. It is rich in vitamins and minerals and also helps the digestive system which makes it a terrific addition to long term food bait applications.
Recommended inclusion levels for this essential oil are 2 drops up to 1.5ml (30 drops) per kg base mix.
Crushed Hemp seed
After feeding only the best quality hemp through a milling process the result is this excellent oily moist hemp meal. Crushed hemp particles are great for adding to groundbaits boilies and spod mixes as they have neutral and bouyant particles that break away in your swim. These Coppens premium select halibut pellets are high-quality feed pellets designed to deliver exceptional attraction for a wide range of species, including carp and catfish. This Salmon based fishmeal is of a higher quality than most standard fishmeals, being of higher meat quality and treated at reduced temperatures thus maintaining protein structure and content. At 67% protein level this is a great addition to any bait. Please be aware this darker coloured salmon meal is much higher quality than many available, the lighter coloured meal contains a much lower % of actual salmon and a higher % of white fishmeal.

Talin
Talin is the strongest/sweetest natural product on the market , which is extracted from an African fruit. It removes any bitter after taste within the finished bait. Talin avoids the overpowering rush of sweetness that can come with artificial sweeteners, helping with very cautious fish. It works extremely well with fish/savoury mixes as well as the obvious fruity and creamy baits.
Recommended inclusion levels for this talin are 1ml per kg base mix.

This Superseed basemix has been formulated from various seeds including Meggablend, Clo and Hemp powder alongside Milk proteins to provide a valuable food source that is suitable for year round use.

All our base mix’s are tried, tested and roll perfectly. We use only the highest quality ingredients available, in all optimum levels formulating an excellent food source which in turn keeps the fish coming back for more as they become familiar with the nutritional value of the bait.

TIP: When making your own boilies it gives you the chance to NOT boil some. This allows you to have baits that haven’t been boiled, which in turn looses some goodness. But most of all it allows these baits to break down and disperse all the soluble attractors and feed stimulants into your swim much faster. These baits would require being kept in a bucket/container to save being crushed/broken once dried. Again these baits wouldn’t be hard enough to be used in a throwing stick.

This (HG-80) whey gel is a high end ingredient, high gelling Milk Protein Whey fraction, please do not confuse this with the poorer imitations available on the market. This premium whey gel will harden baits ALL the way through.
