The options may be chosen on the product pageWhey Protein Concentrate 80% as its name suggest has a protein content in excess of 80% and provides a good amino acid profile that will improve any bait, this product has excellent binding qualities, aids rolling and works as a functional bait hardener.
Recommend inclusion level is up to 10% – (100g) per kg base mix. Inclusion rate’s of around 2.5 – 5% in a Fishmeal based bait is sufficient, higher levels can be used in a Milk/Birdfood/Nut type mixes around 5 – 10%.

Whey Gel

The options may be chosen on the product pageWhey Gel (HG-80)Â is renowned for its excellent gelling properties, whey gel will harden baits to the core and proves itself to be extremely useful where harder baits are required due to crayfish and small fish whittling baits down. High inclusions of whey gel will reduce the cooking time required for baits to as low as 60 seconds.
This (HG-80) whey gel is a high end ingredient, high gelling Milk Protein Whey fraction, please do not confuse this with the poorer imitations available on the market. This premium whey gel will harden baits ALL the way through.

The options may be chosen on the product pageWe have sourced a new intense sweetener which contains a unique blend of natural sweeteners, flavour enhancers & talin, creating a fantastic additive for taking a bitter edge of any bait/feed, greatly enhancing palatability. Inclusion levels depend on other ingredients in the mix and the initial strength of bitterness in the bait. A suitable starting point for inclusion is 0.05%, therefore equating to 1kg of dry mix requiring 0.5g of sweetener. It is advisable to use the minimum amount of sweetener required to balance the bait sweet/bitter taste.
Dosage direction per kg dry mix: 0.5 – 2g per kg base mix.
Product character: white or almost white odourless powder. Water soluble in water, intense sweet taste, heat stable.

Tips
-  Remember our sweet whey powder can be used to add binding to any mix. Start by adding 5% – 50g per kg mix, you can then adjust accordingly. Adding more will increase the binding, vice versa adding less will decrease the break down time. This is to be added to the dry mix, then mixed very well before wetting.
- We recommend slowly adding water/liquid additives to any mix, be careful not to add too much water. A nice fluffy texture that still breaks down is ideal. Too much water can make a mix go hard. More water can always be added if required, but it can’t be removed.
- 1L pump spray bottle is ideal for wetting mixes, also great for mixing liquid additives with water before wetting mix.
- Once desired texture is achieved keep in an air tight bucket/container, this helps stop it from drying out.
