  Over the last few years, we have worked tremendously hard sourcing only the highest quality ingredients, liquids, and additives available from all over the globe. Many of our new products are now exclusive to AA Baits, which allows us to formulate and offer the very best, premium quality in-house mixes, available on the market. In order for all our customers to receive a premium mix at a very fair price, we have always supplied direct. Cutting out the middle man allows us to operate using all our finest ingredients and stimulants. This also allows our finest products to be used at optimal levels.

  Our new Super – Sect Groundbait has been formulated with a some of the finest BSF (British solider fly) meal available, along with a mixture of highly attractive additives, mixed spices, cream enhancers, milk powders, our in-house bait boost powder & feed stimulants. Our BSF meal has been sourced from a biotechnology company, and leading insect producer for animal and plant nutrition. To do so, they chose to develop a unique and pioneering technology to rear and transform the Hermetia illucens (Black Soldier Fly) for animal and plant nutrition. More than 100 types of co-products evaluated and 200 recipes tested in order to design the substrate that today perfectly meets the nutritional needs of the larvae at each stage of development (Make sure your supply has been fed correctly & isn’t being fed any old waste).  High in protein, healthy fats, and essential vitamins, it offers numerous environmental benefits, including reduced greenhouse gas emissions and lower land use. Rest assured our supplier is the leading manufacture of BSF products, their biotechnology facility is the largest BSF production plant in the world, with sections that could be mistaken for a science laboratory. Cutting edge R&D (Research & Development) never stops, over £10M has been invested in this department alone, over the last 4 years. Our supplier is serious about delivering the highest quality BSF products available on the planet just like we are serious about producing premium grade products. It has been designed to hold together allowing it to reach the bottom of the lake bed before it starts to breakdown. Can be balled, cupped, used in method feeder, used as a stick mix or as a paste.

  Tips

  •  Remember our sweet whey powder can be used to add binding to any mix. Start by adding 5% – 50g per kg mix, you can then adjust accordingly. Adding more will increase the binding, vice versa adding less will decrease the break down time. This is to be added to the dry mix, then mixed very well before wetting.
  • We recommend slowly adding water/liquid additives to any mix, be careful not to add too much water. A nice fluffy texture that still breaks down is ideal. Too much water can make a mix go hard. More water can always be added if required, but it can’t be removed.
  • 1L pump spray bottle is ideal for wetting mixes, also great for mixing liquid additives with water before wetting mix.
  • Once desired texture is achieved keep in an air tight bucket/container, this helps stop it from drying out.

  Bun Spice Concentrate

  Bun Spice flavour. We have tested many different bun spice flavours and this one definitely stands out from the rest.

  Recommended inclusion levels are 5-10ml per kg base mix. When using a new flavour we always advise creating a small batch of baits and starting with the lower recommended level, you can then add more going forward until you achieve your desired aroma.

  For high attract pop ups & wafters we recommend adding up to 5 ml per 1 egg mix, some flavours are stronger than others so don’t be afraid to experiment.

  When adding to your own glugs & liquids we recommend adding at 2% – 5% (5ml – 12ml flavour – 250ml glug), again when using a new flavour we always advise starting with the lower recommended level, you can then add more going forward until you achieve your desired aroma.

  To boost your hook baits, you can use our PVA friendly Betaine liquid, DMPT liquid or Glycerine (all found under liquid foods) to dilute your chosen flavour down. Some anglers like to boost their hook baits with neat flavour whilst some like to dilute the strength down. We recommend adding the flavour at 5% (12ml flavour – 250ml booster liquid). This % can always be increased until you achieve your chosen strength. You can also add a wide variety of liquid foods etc adding more attraction to your unique booster.

  All our concentrated flavours are of the highest grade/quality available on the market. As with all concentrated flavours and liquids, use in a well ventilated area and always wear safety glasses.

  This is a PG based flavour which has been created with nature identical flavourings and has been carefully created to give flavour as well as the aroma (smell), some flavours out there are mainly based on aroma chemicals (smell), with the flavour not given much thought.

  This Salmon derived hydrolysate is an ultra thick/dark liquid and has extremely potent smell, it it also rich in soluble amino acids making it irresistible to carp.

  Great multi-range product, useful for spod/stick/base/pellet mixes etc.

  The recommended inclusion level is up to 50ml per kg base mix, depending on the amount of other liquids you might be adding.

  Coppens Premium carp pellets. These pellets do not fill up the carp and coarse fish quickly. Premium Carp is also very good for winter fishing due to the low oil content.   Tigernuts (Standard 8-12mm)

  Standard tigers are graded between 8mm and 12mm providing a good size hookbait after preparation.

  CAUTION: All dry particles and nuts will absorb water and expand once submerged, for this reason they MUST all be prepared correctly (Soaked for a given time and cooked for a given time). Failure to prepare properly can be deadly to fish.

  TO PREPARE: Soak for a minimum of 24 hours then boil vigorously for 30 minutes. If you leave the prepared Tiger nuts in an air tight bucket/container for a few days after boiling they will start to ferment, the water will turn gloopy/milky due to all the sugars in the nuts being released.

  Note: Once cooked you can also add liquid foods, oils or bait additives of your choice to add even more attraction.
