This smelly, pungent ground bait has been formulated using the very well know and very potent blue cheese & garlic powder. If this isn’t enough we have also incorporated our in house blend of chilli & spices. We have used our pure food grade, highest quaintly ingredients available creating this devastating groundbait. This one has proven itself over and over again through the last 12 months of testing. This is a carpet feed that fish find almost irresistible. Can be balled, cupped, used in method feeder, used as a stick mix or as a paste.

Tips
- Remember our sweet whey powder can be used to add binding to any mix. Start by adding 5% – 50g per kg mix, you can then adjust accordingly. Adding more will increase the binding, vice versa adding less will decrease the break down time. This is to be added to the dry mix, then mixed very well before wetting.
- We recommend slowly adding water/liquid additives to any mix, be careful not to add too much water. A nice fluffy texture that still breaks down is ideal. Too much water can make a mix go hard. More water can always be added if required, but it can’t be removed.
- 1L pump spray bottle is ideal for wetting mixes, also great for mixing liquid additives with water before wetting mix.
- Once desired texture is achieved keep in an air tight bucket/container, this helps stop it from drying out.

Megagold 60/Maize Protein

The options may be chosen on the product pageMega-gold 60 is made from the only the highest protein fraction of maize making this gritty meal an attractive ingredient for any base mix, this fine meal has been used extensively in the aquaculture industry for some time partly due to it having a protein content of 60% and being extremely digestible. It can be easily recognised with its Bright Golden Yellow colour and will give baits a gritty crunch and flecked appearance at levels from 10%.

Premium Norwegian Fishmeal LT-94

The options may be chosen on the product pageOur premium grade Norwegian Lt-94 Fishmeal is produced from whole blue whiting NOT TRIMMINGS and HEADS which lower quality fishmeal’s contain, some contain a high % of trimmings and heads (ground bone) which will still contain protein but won’t offer the same digestibility to carp. Making this Premium LT-94 far far superior to other available fish meals, it has been treated at much lower drying temperatures allowing the fishmeal to keep a great essential amino acid profile along with its nutritional qualities. With an oil content of around 11% and a protein content of 72% (of which 94% is digestible) LT-94 is the one to choose If you’re looking to make a genuinely high quality fish meal bait.

PEA Protein 75% (Feed Grade)

The options may be chosen on the product pageMore and more Aqua/Fishing bait companies are turning to this ingredient as a suitable and more importantly sustainable protein source to replace a lot of Fishmeal in fish feed formulations, its Amino Acid profile ensures growth rates of fish are not compromised when using this as a quality alternative source to Fishmeal, whilst the bio availability is not as high as Fishmeal, trials by the major French manufacturer have concluded no loss of growth rates in fish.
This feed grade version has a coarse texture and contains 75% protein.
Recommended inclusion level is 250g per kg base mix.

Whey Gel

The options may be chosen on the product pageWhey Gel (HG-80) is renowned for its excellent gelling properties, whey gel will harden baits to the core and proves itself to be extremely useful where harder baits are required due to crayfish and small fish whittling baits down. High inclusions of whey gel will reduce the cooking time required for baits to as low as 60 seconds.
This (HG-80) whey gel is a high end ingredient, high gelling Milk Protein Whey fraction, please do not confuse this with the poorer imitations available on the market. This premium whey gel will harden baits ALL the way through.
Recommend inclusion level is up to 5% – (50g) per kg base mix, dependant on what other binders are being used in the mix.

Belachan Block

The options may be chosen on the product pageBelachan block is fermented shrimp paste, it is a salty, strong smelling block that is used to create deep flavours in Malaysian dishes… and carp find it highly attractive. The solid block can be grated down with a cheese grater and used in many applications such as pellets, particles, base mixes, method, spod or stick mixes making a great attractor.

Acid Casein

The options may be chosen on the product pageAcid Casein has a protein content in excess of 90% and a good amino acid profile making this ideal for use in balanced HNV baits. Use of Acid casein will allow baits to maintain a softer centre and aids with binding proving to be functional as well as providing a good profile.
Mixed 50/50 with Rennet casein you can acquire a better profile for your finished baits.

We have managed to source a sustainable top quality insect protein meal, this black solider fly (BSF) meal is the de-fatted version, which is very important when including it in any bait due to the high levels of saturated fats which congeal and can become solid at almost room temperature. This meal is now being widely used in the fishing bait and animal feed industry. Please take consideration in to the amount used in bottom baits, due to the light nature of this product it will add buoyancy to baits.
