  Tips

  •  Remember our sweet whey powder can be used to add binding to any mix. Start by adding 5% – 50g per kg mix, you can then adjust accordingly. Adding more will increase the binding, vice versa adding less will decrease the break down time. This is to be added to the dry mix, then mixed very well before wetting.
  • We recommend slowly adding water/liquid additives to any mix, be careful not to add too much water. A nice fluffy texture that still breaks down is ideal. Too much water can make a mix go hard. More water can always be added if required, but it can’t be removed.
  • 1L pump spray bottle is ideal for wetting mixes, also great for mixing liquid additives with water before wetting mix.
  • Once desired texture is achieved keep in an air tight bucket/container, this helps stop it from drying out.

  Beta-Yeast is a premium grade brewers yeast, we have specifically sourced this for use in all our in-house formulations. The producer uses a special procedure which ensure’s maximum protection of the sensitive components and active ingredients within the brewers yeast. This brewers yeast contains a higher protein level, contains more valuable and highly available ingredients (enzymes, B vitamins, amino acids and minerals) and taste’s much smoother.   Whey Gel (HG-80)  is renowned for its excellent gelling properties, whey gel will harden baits to the core and proves itself to be extremely useful where harder baits are required due to crayfish and small fish whittling baits down. High inclusions of whey gel will reduce the cooking time required for baits to as low as 60 seconds.

  This (HG-80) whey gel is a high end ingredient, high gelling Milk Protein Whey fraction, please do not confuse this with the poorer imitations available on the market. This premium whey gel will harden baits ALL the way through.
