Our in-house flavour enhancers are formulated using a blend of high-quality, food-grade, and feed-safe ingredients, including oleoresins, essential oils, premium liquid hydrolysates, sweeteners, NHDC sweetener, and our proprietary soluble amino acid stimulant. These formulations are designed to be highly attractive and effective.
All our flavours are based on taste rather than aroma. Flavours formulated based on aroma utilise completely different chemicals, but our focus remains on creating flavours that taste pleasant rather than just smelling strong. While personal preferences vary, this approach reflects our commitment to delivering safe effective products.
In addition, we exclusively offer flavours that are feed-safe, ensuring their suitability for inclusion in animal feeds and other applications. Our flavour house adhere’s strictly to regulatory standards, which does require removing certain chemicals from time to time, these chemicals are removed from the food & feed register for a reason. We follow the experts guidance and prioritise safety for both humans and aquatic life.
Our hook baits undergo an intensive, three-stage, high-pressure vacuum infusion process. We believe this method is the only way to truly infuse liquids deep into the core of each bait:
- First stage: Infusion with our in-house amino acid, feed-inducing stimulant
- Second stage: Infusion with a mixture of sweeteners and betaine anhydrous liquid
- Third stage: Infusion with our premium-grade, in-house flavour enhancers
These baits continuously release food signals from the liquid foods and stimulants, offering extended attraction, while also generating an investigation signal via pH change from one of our infused liquids.
We also provide our in-house 30ml flavour enhancers, ideal for boosting all types of baits.

The options may be chosen on the product pageWe have sourced a new intense sweetener which contains a unique blend of natural sweeteners, flavour enhancers & talin, creating a fantastic additive for taking a bitter edge of any bait/feed, greatly enhancing palatability. Inclusion levels depend on other ingredients in the mix and the initial strength of bitterness in the bait. A suitable starting point for inclusion is 0.05%, therefore equating to 1kg of dry mix requiring 0.5g of sweetener. It is advisable to use the minimum amount of sweetener required to balance the bait sweet/bitter taste.
Dosage direction per kg dry mix: 0.5 – 2g per kg base mix.
Product character: white or almost white odourless powder. Water soluble in water, intense sweet taste, heat stable.

Recommended inclusion levels are 5-10ml per kg base mix. When using a new flavour we always advise creating a small batch of baits and starting with the lower recommended level, you can then add more going forward until you achieve your desired aroma.
For high attract pop ups & wafters we recommend adding up to 5 ml per 1 egg mix, some flavours are stronger than others so don’t be afraid to experiment.
When adding to your own glugs & liquids we recommend adding at 2% – 5% (5ml – 12ml flavour – 250ml glug), again when using a new flavour we always advise starting with the lower recommended level, you can then add more going forward until you achieve your desired aroma.
To boost your hook baits, you can use our PVA friendly Betaine liquid, DMPT liquid or Glycerine (all found under liquid foods) to dilute your chosen flavour down. Some anglers like to boost their hook baits with neat flavour whilst some like to dilute the strength down. We recommend adding the flavour at 5% (12ml flavour – 250ml booster liquid). This % can always be increased until you achieve your chosen strength. You can also add a wide variety of liquid foods etc adding more attraction to your unique booster.
All our concentrated flavours are of the highest grade/quality available on the market. As with all concentrated flavours and liquids, use in a well ventilated area and always wear safety glasses.
This is a PG based flavour which has been created with nature identical flavourings and has been carefully created to give flavour as well as the aroma (smell), some flavours out there are mainly based on aroma chemicals (smell), with the flavour not given much thought.

Description
We have just taken delivery of our newly formulated boosted GLM feed pellet’s, we have gone to great lengths to have these specially produced. We have included some high quality ingredients, additives & liquids into the new formulation, creating a highly attractive and nutritional pellet. The formulation contains a reasonable inclusion of pure green lipped mussel powder. We have also incorporated our premium LT-94 fishmeal, high quality yeast powders, in-house soluble amino acid supplement, in-house booster additive, premium liquid hydrolysates, fish oils & more. There really isn’t another pellet on the market that has these premium grade ingredients directly included inside the finished pellet. These one of kind pellets are something we have been extremely excited to produce and offer to all our lovely customers. Over the last few years, we have worked tremendously hard sourcing only the highest quality ingredients, liquids, and additives available from all over the globe. Many of our new products are now exclusive to AA Baits, which allows us to formulate and offer the very best, premium quality in-house mixes, available on the market. That being said, we do keep a handful of specially sourced products close to our chest, making our mixes stand out from the rest 😉. In order for all our customers to receive a premium mix at a very fair price, we have always supplied direct. Cutting out the middle man allows us to operate using all our finest ingredients and stimulants. This also allows our finest products to be used at optimal levels.
HNV Tigernut base mix is made using pure tigernut products, In-house blend of nut meals, Peanut protein (soluble), balanced and nutritional proteins making this a very attractive sweet mix. Suitable all year round this is a great addition to your bait armoury.
We recommend the inclusion of tigernut extract in the bait at levels between 30 / 50ml per kg of dry mix.
Use approximately 8 eggs per Kg of dry mix.
All our base mix’s are tried, tested and roll perfectly. We use only the highest quality ingredients available, in all optimum levels formulating an excellent food source which in turn keeps the fish coming back for more as they become familiar with the nutritional value of the bait.
Contains: Large amount of Tigernut Flour, In-house blend of nut meals, Peanut protein (soluble), CLO, Hemp Powder, In house blend of high end milk powders, Egg albumen and Betaine to name just a few ingredients in this mix.
Our mixes do arrive ready to roll, but many of our customers do add their own ingredients and additives to make it a unique formulation. Please bear in mind altering the mix may affect the rolling so some trial and error might be required depending on the products being added.

TIP: When making your own boilies it gives you the chance to NOT boil some. This allows you to have baits that haven’t been boiled, which in turn looses some goodness. But most of all it allows these baits to break down and disperse all the soluble attractors and feed stimulants into your swim much faster. These baits would require being kept in a bucket/container to save being crushed/broken once dried. Again these baits wouldn’t be hard enough to be used in a throwing stick.
