We have been asked over and over again for a pure beef liver powder, ask no more. We have sourced yet again another premium quality product. Betaine HCL is an Acidic form of Betaine (Trimethylglycine), widely used in the aquaculture and animal feed industry to promote feed intake and stimulation, aid digestion and nutrition intake. Our Betaine HCL is a 98% pure, white crystalline powder. Try dissolving a little in your chosen liquid/flavour and use as a glug for boosting hook baits with. Dissolve in a little liquid and use to coat pellets. Totally water soluble and good for all year round usage.
Recommended inclusion level is around 5-15g per kg base mix .
If using in ground baits or stick mixes then the recommended inclusion level is 5g per kg of mix.
Fish collagen has minimum protein content of 90% and is absolutely rammed with amino acids. This fantastic additive doesn’t stop there, it is also very soluble, making an additive we certainly wouldn’t look past.

Potassium sorbate (E202) is present in many human food stuffs and drinks. It has also been tested as safe to use in aquatic environments. Can be used by dissolving in to your liquids/liquid egg to preserve your boilie and paste mixes. Potassium sorbate is ideal to use in boilies as it survives the boiling process – it has a melting point of 134°C and a boiling point of 228°C…well above the temperature of boiling baits.
Recommended inclusion level is 0.1% of your liquid. (450ml liquid – 1g potassium sorbate). You can also add citric acid which will increase the preserving properties. When using potassium sorbate we advise testing small batches to see how long your unique mix with stay preserved.
It is also important to remember the main part of the process is to dry your baits well prior to storing, usually a minimum of 48hrs, it can be slightly longer in the colder months due to extra moisture being in the air, the longer your baits are dried the less the moisture content will be helping to prevent mould growth.
Spirulina is a natural blue-green micro algae which grows naturally in lakes, it has a protein content of approximately 60%, it is also extremely rich in the antioxidants which helps fish fight diseases and has an excellent source of nutrients, B vitamins and minerals. All this makes for a susuperb additive for year-round baits.
Spirulina will also darken your mix it is a natural way to colour your baits, whilst adding all the benefits at the same time.
Recommend inclusion level is up to 5% (50g) per kg base mix.
This high food grade Blue cheese powder is a flavourful ingredient made from dried and ground blue cheese, used to add a rich, tangy flavour to your bait. The powder retains the distinctive characteristics of blue cheese, making it the perfect and very successful fish attractant. With its strong savoury taste and smell its the perfect additive to add to your bait.
Recommended inclusion levels are up to 100grams (10%) per kilo of base mix.
