  Egg Albumen also known as egg white powder will give baits a firm skinned finish (allowing boiling times to be lowered) without making the bait rock hard right through. Egg albumen has a protein content of 78% plus and adds to the digestibility and nutritional profile of finished baits.

  Egg Albumen may be used with Whey Gel at an inclusion of 5% each to produce a base mix that requires no liquid egg. This enables you to add either water or liquid (non oil based) attractors to your base mix to produce a far more soluble finished bait. Add Egg Albumen at 5% and also Whey Gel at 5% to eliminate the requirement for liquid egg.

  Over the last few years, we have worked tremendously hard sourcing only the highest quality ingredients, liquids, and additives available from all over the globe. Many of our new products are now exclusive to AA Baits, which allows us to formulate and offer the very best, premium quality in-house mixes, available on the market. That being said, we do keep a handful of specially sourced products close to our chest, making our mixes stand out from the rest 😉. In order for all our customers to receive a premium mix at a very fair price, we have always supplied direct. Cutting out the middle man allows us to operate using all our finest ingredients and stimulants. This also allows our finest products to be used at optimal levels.

  HNV Superseed basemix has been formulated from various seeds, including Meggablend, CLO and Hemp alongside milk and egg proteins to provide a valuable food source, that is suitable for year round use. The added high quality ingredients makes this HNV mix ideal for long term baiting campaigns.

  This mix will take on any flavour and colour combination well.

  It will take approximately 9 eggs per Kg of dry basemix.

  All our base mix’s are tried, tested and roll perfectly. We use only the highest quality ingredients available, in all optimum levels formulating an excellent food source which in turn keeps the fish coming back for more as they become familiar with the nutritional value of the bait.

  Contains: Meggablend, CLO, Hemp Powder, Combination of high end Milk & Egg proteins to name just a few ingredients in this mix.

  Our mixes do arrive ready to roll, but many of our customers do add their own ingredients and additives to make it a unique formulation. Please bear in mind altering the mix may affect the rolling so some trial and error might be required depending on the products being added.

  TIP: When making your own boilies it gives you the chance to NOT boil some. This allows you to have baits that haven’t been boiled, which in turn looses some goodness. But most of all it allows these baits to break down and disperse all the soluble attractors and feed stimulants into your swim much faster. These baits would require being kept in a bucket/container to save being crushed/broken once dried. Again these baits wouldn’t be hard enough to be used in a throwing stick.

  *We have improved our Mini Ultra mix pellet formation, we have now incorporated our very own 3mm Bloodworm pellets & 3mm GLM pellets, along with a very fine (0.5mm) high protein pellet crumb. This mix now includes a whopping 9 different pellets.

  This devastating pellet mix includes a variety of coppens, skretting and bloodworm pellets in mixed sizes, the best quality feed pellets available, which have been tried and tested by many anglers over the years.   Maple Concentrate (AABaits Original)

  This maple flavour has a subtle sweet/creamy syrup aroma, we have had the odd customer state this is not quite creamy enough so we have now sourced a much more creamy version (Maple Cream +).

  Recommended inclusion levels are 6-14ml per kg base mix. When using a new flavour we always advise creating a small batch of baits and starting with the lower recommended level, you can then add more going forward until you achieve your desired aroma.

  For high attract pop ups & wafters we recommend adding up to 6ml per 1 egg mix, some flavours are stronger than others so don’t be afraid to experiment.

  When adding to your own glugs & liquids we recommend adding at 2% – 5% (5ml – 12ml flavour – 250ml glug), again when using a new flavour we always advise starting with the lower recommended level, you can then add more going forward until you achieve your desired aroma.

  To boost your hook baits, you can use our PVA friendly Betaine liquid, DMPT liquid or Glycerine (all found under liquid foods) to dilute your chosen flavour down. Some anglers like to boost their hook baits with neat flavour whilst some like to dilute the strength down. We recommend adding the flavour at 5% (12ml flavour – 250ml booster liquid). This % can always be increased until you achieve your chosen strength. You can also add a wide variety of liquid foods etc adding more attraction to your unique booster.

  All our concentrated flavours are of the highest grade/quality available on the market. As with all concentrated flavours and liquids, use in a well ventilated area and always wear safety glasses.

  This fantastic fermented shrimp paste is a very similar makeup to liquid belachan. This paste is more pure than the solid belachan block version due to not having any bulk fillers and also takes away the hassle of grating it down. The shrimp content is also very high around 65%, the shrimp is crushed then salt added for preservative, once dried it is then mixed with Lactic Acid Bacteria and left to ferment, whilst being left its proteins are broken down which then realise a wide range of free form amino acids, used by many anglers in there baits and mixes, one definitely not to nee over looked.

  Please note: This is the recommended starting amount. You can add less for a more washed out colour or add more for a brighter/darker colour. Also note you can only make mixes darker with colourants (Dark base mixes/ingredients will not turn into a lighter colour), you may have to remove dark ingredients from your mix to achieve your required colour.

  New Ultra Buoyant Fishmeal Pop Up Mix

  *Please note that you will need to add more of the new pop up mix to your liquid egg than with our original mix, not adding enough pop up mix with create really soft pop ups. You need to add as much pop up mix as you can, stopping just before the dough goes too dry.

  This Fishmeal pop-up mix will make extremely buoyant hook baits which will remain buoyant for days (we tested a 12mm for 5 days). We have been asked over and over again for a pop-up mix that is buoyant enough for a 12mm hook bait to hold a size 4 hook up with a ring swivel, look no further this pop-up does just that. The 12mm hook baits we have experimented with have stayed popped up for 5 days, we then stopped testing. Made with Milk proteins, Egg Proteins and (CPSP 90) pre-digested fishmeal thus increasing leakage. You will find it easy to use and roll. It has a firm texture but remains soft enough to use with a bait thus increasing leakage, it also takes on attractors and flavours extremely well, you will find it easy to use and roll. It has a firm texture but remains soft enough to use with a bait needle without excessive force.

  One egg will take approximately 80-100 grams of pop-up mix. You will get approximately 5 pots of pop ups per 250 grams of pop-up mix once made.

  Simply add 40g Fluoro dye per kg plain pop-up mix to create fluorescent hook baits. For washed out add 20g white dye and 20g fluoro dye per kg pop up mix. These are recommendations and can be altered until you achieve your desired colour. Add both pop-up mix and your chosen dyes into a large plastic bag, then close bag trapping some air inside and shake well until mixed evenly.

  With this mix being so buoyant it allows you to add extra base mix when creating wafters.

  For shelf life hook baits add 10-15ml of bait preserve per egg. It is important to remember the main part of the process is to dry your hook baits well prior to storing, usually a minimum of 48hrs, it can be slightly longer in the colder months due to extra moisture being in the air, the longer your hook baits are dried the less the moisture content will be helping to prevent mould growth.

  This pop up mix requires boiling for roughly 90 seconds for a 12mm and 120secs for 15mm hook baits.
