We have managed to source a sustainable top quality insect protein meal, this black solider fly (BSF) meal is the de-fatted version, which is very important when including it in any bait due to the high levels of saturated fats which congeal and can become solid at almost room temperature. This meal is now being widely used in the fishing bait and animal feed industry. Please take consideration in to the amount used in bottom baits, due to the light nature of this product it will add buoyancy to baits.

Beta-Yeast

The options may be chosen on the product pageBeta-Yeast is a premium grade brewers yeast, we have specifically sourced this for use in all our in-house formulations. The producer uses a special procedure which ensure’s maximum protection of the sensitive components and active ingredients within the brewers yeast. This brewers yeast contains a higher protein level, contains more valuable and highly available ingredients (enzymes, B vitamins, amino acids and minerals) and taste’s much smoother. We only use the purest ingredients available in all our mixes, you won’t find a better brewers yeast on the market, we won’t settle for anything less.

Shrimp / Belachan Paste

The options may be chosen on the product pageThis fantastic fermented shrimp paste is a very similar makeup to liquid belachan. This paste is more pure than the solid belachan block version due to not having any bulk fillers and also takes away the hassle of grating it down. The shrimp content is also very high around 65%, the shrimp is crushed then salt added for preservative, once dried it is then mixed with Lactic Acid Bacteria and left to ferment, whilst being left its proteins are broken down which then realise a wide range of free form amino acids, used by many anglers in there baits and mixes, one definitely not to nee over looked.

Betaine Hydrochloride (Betaine HCL)

Our Betaine HCL is a 98% pure, white crystalline powder. Try dissolving a little in your chosen liquid/flavour and use as a glug for boosting hook baits with. Dissolve in a little liquid and use to coat pellets. Totally water soluble and good for all year round usage.

Rennet Casein (90mesh)

We have been asked many times for a CLO that is in-between our Genuine & Sulis equivalent in texture. This new CLO is very digestible and provides great binding qualities to your base mix, Our new version partly contains vegetable proteins, superfoods, cereal products, dried egg products, bakery products & oil rich seeds . As well as the great binding it will add texture and valuable minerals oils and digestible proteins to your finished bait (ready ground).

Our DMPT Liquid has been formulated to thin down flavours for boosting Hookbaits etc. It also allows you to create your very own unique booster/soaks by using this as your base and adding your chosen additives and flavours.

This soya flour isn’t (Trusoy) soya flour, we have sourced an alternative to see how it compares, it does contain the same protein and oil level as (Trusoy). It will make rolling easier as it has higher levels of oil and fats that also help baits to retain moisture.

Ultra Roasted Peanut Liquid
This thick roasted peanut liquid has a creamy sweet taste and deep roasted peanut aroma. Contains naturals sugars and proteins along with low fat content making a highly attractive, all year round liquid.

The recommended inclusion level is up to 50ml per kg base mix, depending on the amount of other liquids you might be adding.

Maple Concentrate (AABaits Original)
This maple flavour has a subtle sweet/creamy syrup aroma, we have had the odd customer state this is not quite creamy enough so we have now sourced a much more creamy version (Maple Cream +).
Recommended inclusion levels are 6-14ml per kg base mix. When using a new flavour we always advise creating a small batch of baits and starting with the lower recommended level, you can then add more going forward until you achieve your desired aroma.
For high attract pop ups & wafters we recommend adding up to 6ml per 1 egg mix, some flavours are stronger than others so don’t be afraid to experiment.
When adding to your own glugs & liquids we recommend adding at 2% – 5% (5ml – 12ml flavour – 250ml glug), again when using a new flavour we always advise starting with the lower recommended level, you can then add more going forward until you achieve your desired aroma.
To boost your hook baits, you can use our PVA friendly Betaine liquid, DMPT liquid or Glycerine (all found under liquid foods) to dilute your chosen flavour down. Some anglers like to boost their hook baits with neat flavour whilst some like to dilute the strength down. We recommend adding the flavour at 5% (12ml flavour – 250ml booster liquid). This % can always be increased until you achieve your chosen strength. You can also add a wide variety of liquid foods etc adding more attraction to your unique booster.
All our concentrated flavours are of the highest grade/quality available on the market. As with all concentrated flavours and liquids, use in a well ventilated area and always wear safety glasses.
This is a PG based flavour which has been created with nature identical flavourings and has been carefully created to give a very appetising flavour as well as the aroma (smell), some flavours out there are mainly based on aroma chemicals (smell), with the flavour not given much thought.
Herring Fish Meal
Another fantastic fishmeal we get asked for on a regular basis. This is a very consistent fishmeal and has a strong pungent fish meal smell to it and is on the darker side in colour. Ot also offers a great protein level (68%) and oil content (8 – 15%) along with essential amnio acids.

Squid Addarome + Powder
This powerful squid addarome + powder packs a powerful punch (caution when opening in confined spaces, especially in you’re home). This is an old time classic Squid & octopus flavoured powder and aids with palatability. When using in conjunction with flavours/additives we recommend keeping to the lower side of the inclusion levels.
Recommended inclusion level is around 2-10g per kg base mix.
