We have managed to source a sustainable top quality insect protein meal, this black solider fly (BSF) meal is the de-fatted version, which is very important when including it in any bait due to the high levels of saturated fats which congeal and can become solid at almost room temperature. This meal is now being widely used in the fishing bait and animal feed industry. Please take consideration in to the amount used in bottom baits, due to the light nature of this product it will add buoyancy to baits.

Meat Meal 55 is a high-protein, processed animal protein ingredient produced in the UK from Category 3 animal by-products. It is manufactured exclusively from materials derived from animals passed fit for human consumption prior to processing, making it a safe, consistent and nutritionally valuable ingredient for all fishing bait and feed formulations.
This light brown, finely milled meal is produced from mixed species meat trimmings, fat, bones and offal, delivering a balanced protein and fat profile with excellent digestibility. With a controlled particle size (98% <2.0mm), Meat Meal 55 offers good handling characteristics and uniform blending in dry and wet formulations.

Peanut Protein

This meal/flour has an extremely attractive nutty aroma and has a much higher protein content of (50% protein) than standard peanut meals (28% protein), it also has a much lower fat content of around 12% were standard peanut meal has around a 40% fat content. Micronized Maize meal is mainly used in ground baits and method mixes. Made by grinding maize it has a white and yellow speckled appearance and a coarse texture. Can also be used in base mixes.
(Micronized) means it has had some form of heat treatment (usually infra red) this enables more of the nutrients to become available.

As well as the great binding it will add texture and valuable minerals oils and digestible proteins to your finished bait (ready ground).
