Light Brown Cocoa Powder is a premium-grade, alkalised cocoa powder manufactured from carefully processed cocoa beans. With a cocoa butter content of 10–12%, it offers a smooth, classic cocoa profile alongside a light-to-medium brown colour, making it an extremely versatile ingredient for use within boilie, groundbait, stick mix and spod mix formulations.
Unlike natural cocoa powder, this product has been alkalised (Dutch processed) to reduce its natural acidity. This produces a smoother, more rounded cocoa taste and aroma while giving the powder its consistent light brown appearance.
The fine particle size allows it to disperse evenly throughout dry mixes, making it particularly useful where a consistent cocoa profile and colour are required throughout the finished bait.
With its distinctive chocolate aroma and palatability, cocoa powder works particularly well alongside milk proteins, birdfoods, nut meals, biscuit meals and sweet or creamy flavour profiles. It can also be incorporated at lower levels into fishmeal-based formulations to add another layer to the overall taste and aroma profile.

Recommended Inclusion Rate
Boilie & Base Mixes: 2.5–10%
Groundbaits / Stick & Spod Mixes: Use as required depending on the desired aroma, taste and colour.
We recommend starting at the lower inclusion level and increasing gradually to suit your formulation. As with any powdered ingredient, higher inclusion rates can alter the binding, texture and rolling characteristics of a base mix.

Pineapple Concentrate

The options may be chosen on the product pageThis pineapple flavour is another huge fruit favourite and has often been the flavour used in the colder months particularly for high-attract hook baits when used with N-Butyric acid. However, it is also a proven fish catcher throughout the summer.
Recommended inclusion levels are 5-10ml per kg base mix. When using a new flavour we always advise creating a small batch of baits and starting with the lower recommended level, you can then add more going forward until you achieve your desired aroma.
For high attract pop ups & wafters we recommend adding up to 5 ml per 1 egg mix, some flavours are stronger than others so don’t be afraid to experiment.
When adding to your own glugs & liquids we recommend adding at 2% – 5% (5ml – 12ml flavour – 250ml glug), again when using a new flavour we always advise starting with the lower recommended level, you can then add more going forward until you achieve your desired aroma.
To boost your hook baits, you can use our PVA friendly Betaine liquid, DMPT liquid or Glycerine (all found under liquid foods) to dilute your chosen flavour down. Some anglers like to boost their hook baits with neat flavour whilst some like to dilute the strength down. We recommend adding the flavour at 5% (12ml flavour – 250ml booster liquid). This % can always be increased until you achieve your chosen strength. You can also add a wide variety of liquid foods etc adding more attraction to your unique booster.

The options may be chosen on the product pageWe have sourced a new intense sweetener which contains a unique blend of natural sweeteners, flavour enhancers & talin, creating a fantastic additive for taking a bitter edge of any bait/feed, greatly enhancing palatability. Inclusion levels depend on other ingredients in the mix and the initial strength of bitterness in the bait. A suitable starting point for inclusion is 0.05%, therefore equating to 1kg of dry mix requiring 0.5g of sweetener. This fantastic sweetener has a slight cream taste and is around 1500/1800 times sweeter than table sugar. This ultra strong sweetener won’t leave any bitter after taste and lingers in the mouth for some time. An important synergetic quality of NHDC is the enhancing sweet effect if it is combined with other sweeteners. This is many times higher than if you solely use NHDC or a single sweetener. If you are looking for an out and out premium grade basemix, look no further. This particular basemix is based on a time-tested recipe we have been asked to supply for a couple of years. Our own unique version of this formulation incorporates a selection of our in-house made ingredients, enhancing an already exceptional recipe. By combining our soluble peanut protein along side roasted peanut meal, blend of mixed nuts and tigernut flour we’ve created an extraordinarily premium grade nutty basemix.

Our base mixes are tried, tested, and consistently roll perfectly. We exclusively utilize high-quality ingredients, carefully balanced at their optimal levels to produce an excellent food source. This ensures the bait remains highly attractive and nutritionally rich, encouraging fish to return as they become familiar with its benefits.
Tip: When creating your own boilies, consider leaving some unboiled. Unboiled baits retain more nutrients and soluble attractors, leading to faster dispersal and increased feeding activity in your swim. These baits should be stored in a bucket or container to prevent damage once dried. Keep in mind, unboiled baits will not be as hard, so they are best suited for use with a throwing stick.
