We have sourced a new intense sweetener which contains a unique blend of natural sweeteners, flavour enhancers & talin, creating a fantastic additive for taking a bitter edge of any bait/feed, greatly enhancing palatability. Inclusion levels depend on other ingredients in the mix and the initial strength of bitterness in the bait. A suitable starting point for inclusion is 0.05%, therefore equating to 1kg of dry mix requiring 0.5g of sweetener. This fantastic sweetener has a slight cream taste and is around 1500/1800 times sweeter than table sugar. This ultra strong sweetener won’t leave any bitter after taste and lingers in the mouth for some time. An important synergetic quality of NHDC is the enhancing sweet effect if it is combined with other sweeteners. This is many times higher than if you solely use NHDC or a single sweetener. This is where the real power lies! It amplifies the perception of other sweeteners and flavours and is absolutely essential in every sweet bait. We recommend slowly adding water/liquid additives to any mix, be careful not to add too much water. A nice fluffy texture that still breaks down is ideal. Too much water can make a mix go hard. More water can always be added if required, but it can’t be removed.

Once desired texture is achieved keep in an air tight bucket/container, this helps stop it from drying out.
