Our own unique version of this formulation incorporates a selection of our in-house made ingredients, enhancing an already exceptional recipe. By combining our soluble peanut protein along side roasted peanut meal, blend of mixed nuts and tigernut flour we’ve created an extraordinarily premium grade nutty basemix.

  Complemented by an extensive array of high-end ingredients and additives, this mix is designed to maximize attraction and nutritional value. Our in-house bait boost powder, formulated for both attraction and nutritional benefits, has been included to promote growth, health, long-term food signals and feeding response.   Use approximately 9 eggs per kilogram of dry base mix for optimal binding. This base mix will produce chocolate brown boilies.

  Our base mixes are tried, tested, and consistently roll perfectly. We exclusively utilize high-quality ingredients, carefully balanced at their optimal levels to produce an excellent food source. This ensures the bait remains highly attractive and nutritionally rich, encouraging fish to return as they become familiar with its benefits.

  Tip: When creating your own boilies, consider leaving some unboiled. Unboiled baits retain more nutrients and soluble attractors, leading to faster dispersal and increased feeding activity in your swim. These baits should be stored in a bucket or container to prevent damage once dried. Keep in mind, unboiled baits will not be as hard, so they are best suited for use with a throwing stick.

  Plain Wafter Mix (New)

  *Our new plain wafter mix has been formulated with less buoyancy.

  After being asked many many times for a wafter mix we are extremely happy to offer this superb mix. Made with Milk and Egg Proteins thus increasing leakage, it also takes on attractors and flavours extremely well, you will find it easy to use and roll. It has a firm texture but remains soft enough to use with a bait needle without excessive force. This new wafter mix has now been made less buoyant, its does still allow you to add base mix (at a lower level) when creating matching hook baits. When being used without any other powders added to the mix a 15mm round hook bait should be roughly, the correct buoyancy and will sit nicely using a size 4 hook with a ring swivel. There is always going to be a little trial and error when creating these sort of hook baits, you can alter the buoyancy of our wafter mix by adding more powders to the mix until you achieve your desired waft. Make sure you write everything down in percentages, you can then alter your percentages until you achieve your required buoyancy, also remember the buoyancy will increase slightly as the hook bait dries out, vice versa once the hook baits takes no water it will decrease the buoyancy. Add both wafter mix and your chosen dyes into a large plastic bag, then close bag trapping some air inside and shake well until mixed evenly.

It is important to remember the main part of the process is to dry your hook baits well prior to storing, usually a minimum of 48hrs, it can be slightly longer in the colder months due to extra moisture being in the air, the longer your hook baits are dried the less the moisture content will be helping to prevent mould growth.

  This pop-up mix will make extremely buoyant hook baits which will remain buoyant for days (we tested a 12mm for 5 days). We have been asked over and over again for a pop-up mix that is buoyant enough for a 12mm hook bait to hold a size 4 hook up with a ring swivel, look no further this pop-up does just that. The 12mm hook baits we have experimented with have stayed popped up for 5 days, we then stopped testing. Made with Milk and Egg Proteins thus increasing leakage, it also takes on attractors and flavours extremely well, you will find it easy to use and roll.   Our HNV Fishmeal basemix has been developed using a combination of high quality Norwegian (LT-94) fishmeal and (CPSP 90) Pre-digested fishmeal alongside CLO, milk and egg proteins and proven appetite stimulators providing a perfectly balanced mix that can be used all year round with confidence. Ideal for long term baiting campaigns.

  Contains: Large Amount of Norwegian LT94 Fishmeal, (CPSP 90) Pre-digested Fishmeal, Actifish (100% soluble) Fishmeal, Salmon Fishmeal, CLO, and a blend of high quality Casein’s\Caseinate’s, Betaine & Egg proteins to name just a few ingredients in this mix.

  Our mixes do arrive ready to roll, but many of our customers do add their own ingredients and additives to make it a unique formulation. Please bear in mind altering the mix may affect the rolling so some trial and error might be required depending on the products being added.

When being used without any other powders added to the mix a dumbell wafter (12mm size nozzle on a 15mm rolling table) will sit nicely using a size 4 hook with a ring swivel. There is always going to be a little trial and error when creating these sort of hook baits, you can alter the buoyancy of the mix by adding more powders to the wafter mix until you achieve your desired waft.
