  If you are looking for an out and out premium grade basemix, look no further. This particular basemix is based on a time-tested recipe we have been asked to supply for a couple of years. Our own unique version of this formulation incorporates a selection of our in-house made ingredients, enhancing an already exceptional recipe. By combining our soluble peanut protein along side roasted peanut meal, blend of mixed nuts and tigernut flour we’ve created an extraordinarily premium grade nutty basemix.

  Complemented by an extensive array of high-end ingredients and additives, this mix is designed to maximize attraction and nutritional value. Our in-house bait boost powder, formulated for both attraction and nutritional benefits, has been included to promote growth, health, long-term food signals and feeding response.   Use approximately 9 eggs per kilogram of dry base mix for optimal binding. This base mix will produce chocolate brown boilies.

  Our base mixes are tried, tested, and consistently roll perfectly. We exclusively utilize high-quality ingredients, carefully balanced at their optimal levels to produce an excellent food source. This ensures the bait remains highly attractive and nutritionally rich, encouraging fish to return as they become familiar with its benefits.

  Tip: When creating your own boilies, consider leaving some unboiled. Unboiled baits retain more nutrients and soluble attractors, leading to faster dispersal and increased feeding activity in your swim. These baits should be stored in a bucket or container to prevent damage once dried. Keep in mind, unboiled baits will not be as hard, so they are best suited for use with a throwing stick.

  AA Baits Original Plain Pop Up Mix

  This pop-up mix will make very buoyant hook baits which will remain buoyant in excess of 48 hours. Made with Milk and Egg Proteins thus increasing leakage, it also takes on attractors and flavours extremely well, you will find it easy to use and roll. It has a firm texture but remains soft enough to use with a bait needle without excessive force.

  Simply add 40g Fluoro dye per kg plain pop-up mix to create fluorescent hook baits. For washed out add 20g white dye and 20g fluoro dye per kg pop up mix. These are recommendations and can be altered until you achieve your desired colour. Add both pop-up mix and your chosen dyes into a large plastic bag, then close bag trapping some air inside and shake well until mixed evenly.

  For shelf life hook baits add 10-15ml of bait preserve per egg. It is important to remember the main part of the process is to dry your hook baits well prior to storing, usually a minimum of 48hrs, it can be slightly longer in the colder months due to extra moisture being in the air, the longer your hook baits are dried the less the moisture content will be helping to prevent mould growth.

  One egg will take approximately 100-120 grams of pop-up mix. You will get approximately 5 pots of pop ups per 250 grams of pop-up mix once made.

  This pop up mix needs to be boiled for 90 seconds.

The 12mm hook baits we have experimented with have stayed popped up for 5 days, we then stopped testing.   Fluoro Pink Wafter Mix

  After being asked many many times for a wafter mix we are extremely happy to offer this superb mix. Made with Milk and Egg Proteins thus increasing leakage, it also takes on attractors and flavours extremely well, you will find it easy to use and roll. It has a firm texture but remains soft enough to use with a bait needle without excessive force. This wafter mix has been made on the buoyant side allowing you to add base mix when creating matching hook baits. When being used without any other powders added to the mix a dumbell wafter (12mm size nozzle on a 15mm rolling table) will sit nicely using a size 4 hook with a ring swivel. There is always going to be a little trial and error when creating these sort of hook baits, you can alter the buoyancy of the mix by adding more powders to the wafter mix until you achieve your desired waft. Make sure you write everything down in percentages, you can then alter your percentages until you achieve your required buoyancy, also remember the buoyancy will increase slightly as the hook bait dries out, vice versa once the hook baits takes no water it will decrease the buoyancy.   Over the last few years, we have worked tremendously hard sourcing only the highest quality ingredients, liquids, and additives available from all over the globe. That being said, we do keep a handful of specially sourced products close to our chest, making our mixes stand out from the rest 😉. In order for all our customers to receive a premium mix at a very fair price, we have always supplied direct. Cutting out the middle man allows us to operate using all our finest ingredients and stimulants. This also allows our finest products to be used at optimal levels.

  This base mix is made with milk proteins and food grade ingredients this 50/50 mix is ideal for customizing your own baits allowing you to add any of your chosen ingredients (50% – 50/50 base mix,  50% your chosen ingredients) for a totally different baiting approach. It is advised to add oil when making this mix. Please read below for an example on how we recommend this basemix is to be used.

  Use approximately 9 eggs per Kg of dry base mix.
