These red pre-drilled halibut pellets contain soluble fish proteins and krill which make this product very attractive and palatable with a long lasting effect. The Red Halibut is an ideal bait for specimen hunters for carp, cat fish and barbel. Just like the Black Halibut, this Red Halibut is very water stable and can be used for a long period of time.

    I really like pre-drilled pellets and AA-baits selection of pre- drilled pellet are the best around with 3 sizes to choose from. What I also like about these particular pellets is the Infusion of krill and betaine which in my view are winners. I have used pellets as hook baits for over 30 plus years now and they still are amazing hook baits to use all year round.

    Usage Guidelines

    • Wafters: Use at 5%+ (exact level depends on the rest of your mix)

    Buoyancy can be easily adjusted by altering the inclusion level to suit your specific hookbait recipe.

    Usage Tip

    For best results, start at 4–5% inclusion for wafters and 10% or higher for pop-ups. Always test your finished hookbaits in water, as buoyancy will vary depending on other ingredients used.
