Description
We have sourced this fantastic pure NHDC sweetener, this has been brought in for use in a wide variety of our premium in house products. This fantastic sweetener has a slight cream taste and is around 1500/1800 times sweeter than table sugar. This ultra strong sweetener won’t leave any bitter after taste and lingers in the mouth for some time. An important synergetic quality of NHDC is the enhancing sweet effect if it is combined with other sweeteners. This is many times higher than if you solely use NHDC or a single sweetener. This is where the real power lies! It amplifies the perception of other sweeteners and flavours and is absolutely essential in every sweet bait. A high quality NHDC sweetener will leave a sensory feel in the mouth (almost like a fresh airwaves chewing gum).
Recommended inclusion level is around 0.1-0.5g per kg base mix .

Fluoro Pink Wafter Mix
After being asked many many times for a wafter mix we are extremely happy to offer this superb mix. Made with Milk and Egg Proteins thus increasing leakage, it also takes on attractors and flavours extremely well, you will find it easy to use and roll. It has a firm texture but remains soft enough to use with a bait needle without excessive force. This wafter mix has been made on the buoyant side allowing you to add base mix when creating matching hook baits. When being used without any other powders added to the mix a dumbell wafter (12mm size nozzle on a 15mm rolling table) will sit nicely using a size 4 hook with a ring swivel. There is always going to be a little trial and error when creating these sort of hook baits, you can alter the buoyancy of the mix by adding more powders to the wafter mix until you achieve your desired waft. Make sure you write everything down in percentages, you can then alter your percentages until you achieve your required buoyancy, also remember the buoyancy will increase slightly as the hook bait dries out, vice versa once the hook baits takes no water it will decrease the buoyancy. One egg will take approximately 80-100 grams of pop-up mix. You will get approximately 4 pots of pop ups per 250 grams of pop-up mix once made.
Simply add 40g Fluoro dye per kg wafter mix to create fluorescent hook baits. For washed out add 20g white dye and 20g fluoro dye per kg wafter mix. These are recommendations and can be altered until you achieve your desired colour. Add both wafter mix and your chosen dyes into a large plastic bag, then close bag trapping some air inside and shake well until mixed evenly.
For shelf life hook baits add 10-15ml of bait preserve per egg. It is important to remember the main part of the process is to dry your hook baits well prior to storing, usually a minimum of 48hrs, it can be slightly longer in the colder months due to extra moisture being in the air, the longer your hook baits are dried the less the moisture content will be helping to prevent mould growth.
This wafter mix requires boiling for roughly 90 seconds for a 12mm and 120secs for 15mm hook baits.
Potassium Sorbate (E202)
Potassium sorbate (E202) is present in many human food stuffs and drinks. It has also been tested as safe to use in aquatic environments. Can be used by dissolving in to your liquids/liquid egg to preserve your boilie and paste mixes. Potassium sorbate is ideal to use in boilies as it survives the boiling process – it has a melting point of 134°C and a boiling point of 228°C…well above the temperature of boiling baits.
Recommended inclusion level is 0.1% of your liquid. (450ml liquid – 1g potassium sorbate). You can also add citric acid which will increase the preserving properties. When using potassium sorbate we advise testing small batches to see how long your unique mix with stay preserved.

Aniseed Oil
Aniseed oil has a very distinctive and recognisable aroma. Due to the distinctive essence of this oil, once baits containing it are established they can be extremely successful, making it a terrific addition to long term food bait applications.
Can be added to anything from a particle mix to a boilie mix.
Recommended inclusion levels for this essential oil are 2 drops up to 2ml per kg base mix.
Please note: Pure aniseed oil will congeal/freeze at reasonably low temperatures so may require warming in the colder months before use.

Hemp Powder
Made from 100% pure hemp this powder is one of the best available on the market today, it can be added to any mix from groundbaits to boilies and will make a great paste.
Recommend inclusion level is up to 20% – (200g) per kg base mix.

Liquid Bloodworm Extract
Our Liquid Bloodworm extract is a rich thick liquid that contains emulsified bloodworm along with whole bloodworm. Bloodworm are the single most natural, nutritional and attractive food source for all fish, If this isn’t enough we have also incorporated our in house bend of amino acids making for an absolutely devastating PVA friendly liquid.
Great for adding attraction to pellets, boilies, particles, stick-mixes, PVA bags and even adding to ground baits and method mixes.
The recommended inclusion level is up to 50ml per kg base mix, depending on the amount of other liquids you might be adding.

Mixed Nut Meal

Recommended inclusion level is 20g – 50g per kg (2 -5%) as a guide.
Turmeric (Food Grade)
Turmeric is an indian spice normally found in curries. This spice has proved itself exceptional in bait production as it contains products that fight infections. Turmeric contains a natural yellow pigment that will turn baits a yellow colour.
Recommend inclusion level is up to 20g per kg base mix.

Spirulina
Spirulina is a natural blue-green micro algae which grows naturally in lakes, it has a protein content of approximately 60%, it is also extremely rich in the antioxidants which helps fish fight diseases and has an excellent source of nutrients, B vitamins and minerals. All this makes for a susuperb additive for year-round baits.
Spirulina will also darken your mix it is a natural way to colour your baits, whilst adding all the benefits at the same time.
Recommend inclusion level is up to 5% (50g) per kg base mix.
GLM Concentrate
Green Lipped Mussel Concentrate Flavour.
Recommended inclusion levels are 5-10ml per kg base mix. When using a new flavour we always advise creating a small batch of baits and starting with the lower recommended level, you can then add more going forward until you achieve your desired aroma.
For high attract pop ups & wafters we recommend adding up to 5 ml per 1 egg mix, some flavours are stronger than others so don’t be afraid to experiment.
When adding to your own glugs & liquids we recommend adding at 2% – 5% (5ml – 12ml flavour – 250ml glug), again when using a new flavour we always advise starting with the lower recommended level, you can then add more going forward until you achieve your desired aroma.
To boost your hook baits, you can use our PVA friendly Betaine liquid, DMPT liquid or Glycerine (all found under liquid foods) to dilute your chosen flavour down. Some anglers like to boost their hook baits with neat flavour whilst some like to dilute the strength down. We recommend adding the flavour at 5% (12ml flavour – 250ml booster liquid). This % can always be increased until you achieve your chosen strength. You can also add a wide variety of liquid foods etc adding more attraction to your unique booster.
All our concentrated flavours are of the highest grade/quality available on the market. As with all concentrated flavours and liquids, use in a well ventilated area and always wear safety glasses.
This is a PG based flavour which has been created with nature identical flavourings and has been carefully created to give flavour as well as the aroma (smell), some flavours out there are mainly based on aroma chemicals (smell), with the flavour not given much thought.

Pork Liver Powder (Hydrolysed)
We have managed to source a new hydrolysed pork liver powder. This is a fantastic alternative to our chicken and beef liver powder and all offers a great cost saving. Liver powder is a great addition to any bait, great for pretty much any bait application. This highly attractive/Soluble liver powder has great palpability and nutritional properties hence being used in the fishing bait industry for as long as we can remember, definitely not one to be missed, especially during the colder months.
