Tips
- Remember our sweet whey powder can be used to add binding to any mix. Start by adding 5% – 50g per kg mix, you can then adjust accordingly. Adding more will increase the binding, vice versa adding less will decrease the break down time. This is to be added to the dry mix, then mixed very well before wetting.
- We recommend slowly adding water/liquid additives to any mix, be careful not to add too much water. A nice fluffy texture that still breaks down is ideal. Too much water can make a mix go hard. More water can always be added if required, but it can’t be removed.
- 1L pump spray bottle is ideal for wetting mixes, also great for mixing liquid additives with water before wetting mix.
- Once desired texture is achieved keep in an air tight bucket/container, this helps stop it from drying out.

Our Bloodstorm & squid meal groundbait has been developed around bloodworm, pure blood products, Kingfisher Red (Natural) & Squid meal. Once mixed with water it has a deep red colour and will disperse water soluble attractors through the water layers of your swim. Along with the soluble pure blood powder we have also incorporated our in house blend of milk powders, Mixed ground pellet powder and ground particle powder. It has been designed to hold together allowing it to reach the bottom of the lake bed before it starts to break down. As well as our explosive hemp groundbait once this mix reaches the bottom it then explodes creating a red cloud of attraction. This is one we spent considerable time sourcing, and the specification speaks for itself.
Premium Hydrolysed Yeast Liquid is a pure, fully soluble yeast extract produced from brewer’s yeast using enzymatic hydrolysis, filtration and concentration. The hydrolysis process breaks down the larger yeast proteins into a highly concentrated combination of small peptides and free-form amino acids, producing a dark, rich and highly palatable liquid food with no precipitates.
What really sets this product apart is the level of analysis behind it. Protein-size testing shows that the larger proteins present in the original yeast have largely disappeared following hydrolysis, having been broken down into small peptides and free amino acids below 5 kDa. Further mass-spectrometry analysis shows that the peptides are predominantly concentrated in the 0–2,500 Dalton range, with a maximum peptide molecular size of 5,000 Daltons.
The result is an exceptionally versatile liquid yeast product with an impressive nutritional profile:
