  Our HNV Superseed Basemix has been formulated using a carefully selected blend of seeds, including Meggablend, CLO, and hemp, alongside high-quality milk and egg proteins. This creates a highly nutritious food source suitable for year-round use and ideal for long-term baiting campaigns.

  Over the years, we have worked hard to source only the finest ingredients, liquids, and additives from around the globe. Many of our newer products are now exclusive to AA Baits, allowing us to create premium-quality in-house mixes at a very fair price.

  By supplying direct, we cut out the middleman, meaning we can use our finest ingredients and stimulants at optimum levels while keeping prices competitive.

  This mix takes on flavour and colour combinations extremely well and rolls perfectly.

  Approximate egg requirement:
  9 eggs per 1kg of dry basemix.

  Contains:
  Meggablend, CLO, hemp powder, and a combination of high-end milk and egg proteins, plus other carefully selected ingredients.

  Our basemixes arrive ready to roll. Many customers choose to add their own ingredients and additives to create a unique formulation. Please note that altering the mix may affect rolling, so some trial and error may be required depending on what is added.

  TIP: When making your own boilies it gives you the chance to NOT boil some. This allows you to have baits that haven’t been boiled, which in turn looses some goodness. But most of all it allows these baits to break down and disperse all the soluble attractors and feed stimulants into your swim much faster. These baits would require being kept in a bucket/container to save being crushed/broken once dried. Again these baits wouldn’t be hard enough to be used in a throwing stick.

  *Our fishmeal base mixes contain our genuine premium Norwegian LT-94 fishmeal. This HNV mix now also contains our 100% soluble Acti-Fish fishmeal along side the well know CPSP90 Fishmeal. Along with our newly sourced feed stimulants.

  Over the last few years, we have worked tremendously hard sourcing only the highest quality ingredients, liquids, and additives available from all over the globe. Many of our new products are now exclusive to AA Baits, which allows us to formulate and offer the very best, premium quality in-house mixes, available on the market. That being said, we do keep a handful of specially sourced products close to our chest, making our mixes stand out from the rest 😉.   Our HNV Fishmeal basemix has been developed using a combination of high quality Norwegian (LT-94) fishmeal and (CPSP 90) Pre-digested fishmeal alongside CLO, milk and egg proteins and proven appetite stimulators providing a perfectly balanced mix that can be used all year round with confidence. Ideal for long term baiting campaigns.

  Use approximately 9 eggs per Kg of dry base mix.

  All our base mix’s are tried, tested and roll perfectly. We use only the highest quality ingredients available, in all optimum levels formulating an excellent food source which in turn keeps the fish coming back for more as they become familiar with the nutritional value of the bait.

  Contains: Large Amount of Norwegian LT94 Fishmeal, (CPSP 90) Pre-digested Fishmeal, Actifish (100% soluble) Fishmeal, Salmon Fishmeal, CLO, and a blend of high quality Casein’s\Caseinate’s, Crunchy kelp meal, Betaine & Egg proteins to name just a few ingredients in this mix.

  New Ultra Buoyant Fluoro Yellow Pop Up Mix

  *Please note that you will need to add more of the new pop up mix to your liquid egg than with our original mix, not adding enough pop up mix with create really soft pop ups. You need to add as much pop up mix as you can, stopping just before the dough goes too dry.

  This pop-up mix will make extremely buoyant hook baits which will remain buoyant for days (we tested a 12mm for 5 days). We have been asked over and over again for a pop-up mix that is buoyant enough for a 12mm hook bait to hold a size 4 hook up with a ring swivel, look no further this pop-up does just that. The 12mm hook baits we have experimented with have stayed popped up for 5 days, we then stopped testing. Made with Milk and Egg Proteins thus increasing leakage, it also takes on attractors and flavours extremely well, you will find it easy to use and roll. It has a firm texture but remains soft enough to use with a bait needle without excessive force.

  One egg will take approximately 80-100 grams of pop-up mix. You will get approximately 5 pots of pop ups per 250 grams of pop-up mix once made.

  Simply add 40g Fluoro dye per kg plain pop-up mix to create fluorescent hook baits. For washed out add 20g white dye and 20g fluoro dye per kg pop up mix. These are recommendations and can be altered until you achieve your desired colour. Add both pop-up mix and your chosen dyes into a large plastic bag, then close bag trapping some air inside and shake well until mixed evenly.

  With this mix being so buoyant it allows you to add extra base mix when creating wafters.

  For shelf life hook baits add 10-15ml of bait preserve per egg. It is important to remember the main part of the process is to dry your hook baits well prior to storing, usually a minimum of 48hrs, it can be slightly longer in the colder months due to extra moisture being in the air, the longer your hook baits are dried the less the moisture content will be helping to prevent mould growth.

  After being asked many many times for a wafter mix we are extremely happy to offer this superb mix. Made with Milk and Egg Proteins thus increasing leakage, it also takes on attractors and flavours extremely well, you will find it easy to use and roll. It has a firm texture but remains soft enough to use with a bait needle without excessive force. This wafter mix has been made on the buoyant side allowing you to add base mix when creating matching hook baits. When being used without any other powders added to the mix a dumbell wafter (12mm size nozzle on a 15mm rolling table) will sit nicely using a size 4 hook with a ring swivel. There is always going to be a little trial and error when creating these sort of hook baits, you can alter the buoyancy of the mix by adding more powders to the wafter mix until you achieve your desired waft. Make sure you write everything down in percentages, you can then alter your percentages until you achieve your required buoyancy, also remember the buoyancy will increase slightly as the hook bait dries out, vice versa once the hook baits takes no water it will decrease the buoyancy.
