  Whey Gel (HG-80)  is renowned for its excellent gelling properties, whey gel will harden baits to the core and proves itself to be extremely useful where harder baits are required due to crayfish and small fish whittling baits down. High inclusions of whey gel will reduce the cooking time required for baits to as low as 60 seconds.

  This (HG-80) whey gel is a high end ingredient, high gelling Milk Protein Whey fraction, please do not confuse this with the poorer imitations available on the market. This premium whey gel will harden baits ALL the way through.

  Recommend inclusion level is up to 5% – (50g) per kg base mix, dependant on what other binders are being used in the mix.

  Over the last few years, we have worked tremendously hard sourcing only the highest quality ingredients, liquids, and additives available from all over the globe. That being said, we do keep a handful of specially sourced products close to our chest, making our mixes stand out from the rest 😉. In order for all our customers to receive a premium mix at a very fair price, we have always supplied direct. Cutting out the middle man allows us to operate using all our finest ingredients and stimulants. This also allows our finest products to be used at optimal levels.

  Our Marine Method Mix has been formulated with a very high percentage of highly attractive Marine Halibut powder. With the added feed stimulants, soluble Fishmeal pre-digested and in house blend of milk powders, this is one not to be missed. It has been designed to hold together allowing it to reach the bottom of the lake bed before it starts to break down. Can be balled, cupped, used in method feeder, used as a stick mix or as a paste.

  Tips

  •  Remember our sweet whey powder can be used to add binding to any mix. Start by adding 5% – 50g per kg mix, you can then adjust accordingly. Adding more will increase the binding, vice versa adding less will decrease the break down time. This is to be added to the dry mix, then mixed very well before wetting.
  • We recommend slowly adding water/liquid additives to any mix, be careful not to add too much water. A nice fluffy texture that still breaks down is ideal. Too much water can make a mix go hard. More water can always be added if required, but it can’t be removed.
  • 1L pump spray bottle is ideal for wetting mixes, also great for mixing liquid additives with water before wetting mix.
  • Once desired texture is achieved keep in an air tight bucket/container, this helps stop it from drying out.

  Whey Protein Concentrate 80% as its name suggest has a protein content in excess of 80% and provides a good amino acid profile that will improve any bait, this product has excellent binding qualities, aids rolling and works as a functional bait hardener.

  Recommend inclusion level is up to 10% – (100g) per kg base mix. Inclusion rate’s of around 2.5 – 5% in a Fishmeal based bait is sufficient, higher levels can be used in a Milk/Birdfood/Nut type mixes around 5 – 10%.

  A rather new feed inducing stimulant used in carp fishing. This ultra soluble (80%/90%), highly attractive and very digestible powder is one not to be over looked. It will enhance the palatability which in turn creates a much higher feed intake. This extremely attractive powders is packed with free form L-amino acids; up to around 50% making it a great addition to any formulation.

It contains a large percentage of Tigernut Flour, Tigernut Meal and our roasted peanut meal making a highly attractive nutty mix.   We have sourced this fantastic pure NHDC sweetener, this has been brought in for use in a wide variety of our premium in house products. This fantastic sweetener has a slight cream taste and is around 1500/1800 times sweeter than table sugar. This ultra strong sweetener won’t leave any bitter after taste and lingers in the mouth for some time. An important synergetic quality of NHDC is the enhancing sweet effect if it is combined with other sweeteners. This is many times higher than if you solely use NHDC or a single sweetener. This is where the real power lies! It amplifies the perception of other sweeteners and flavours and is absolutely essential in every sweet bait. A high quality NHDC sweetener will leave a sensory feel in the mouth (almost like a fresh airwaves chewing gum).
