Here at AA Baits we supply an extremely wide range of high quality flavours all in quantities starting from as little as 125ml. All of our flavours are highly concentrated. We advise keeping to the recommended inclusion levels, as with any chemical additive/concentrate, more is not always better and in some cases may repel the fish, be sure to experiment and test with higher inclusion levels on a small scale before committing.

New Ultra Buoyant Fishmeal Pop Up Mix
*Please note that you will need to add more of the new pop up mix to your liquid egg than with our original mix, not adding enough pop up mix with create really soft pop ups. You need to add as much pop up mix as you can, stopping just before the dough goes too dry.
This Fishmeal pop-up mix will make extremely buoyant hook baits which will remain buoyant for days (we tested a 12mm for 5 days). We have been asked over and over again for a pop-up mix that is buoyant enough for a 12mm hook bait to hold a size 4 hook up with a ring swivel, look no further this pop-up does just that. The 12mm hook baits we have experimented with have stayed popped up for 5 days, we then stopped testing. Made with Milk proteins, Egg Proteins and (CPSP 90) pre-digested fishmeal thus increasing leakage. You will find it easy to use and roll. It has a firm texture but remains soft enough to use with a bait thus increasing leakage, it also takes on attractors and flavours extremely well, you will find it easy to use and roll. It has a firm texture but remains soft enough to use with a bait needle without excessive force.
One egg will take approximately 80-100 grams of pop-up mix. You will get approximately 5 pots of pop ups per 250 grams of pop-up mix once made.
Simply add 40g Fluoro dye per kg plain pop-up mix to create fluorescent hook baits. For washed out add 20g white dye and 20g fluoro dye per kg pop up mix. These are recommendations and can be altered until you achieve your desired colour. Add both pop-up mix and your chosen dyes into a large plastic bag, then close bag trapping some air inside and shake well until mixed evenly.
With this mix being so buoyant it allows you to add extra base mix when creating wafters.
For shelf life hook baits add 10-15ml of bait preserve per egg. It is important to remember the main part of the process is to dry your hook baits well prior to storing, usually a minimum of 48hrs, it can be slightly longer in the colder months due to extra moisture being in the air, the longer your hook baits are dried the less the moisture content will be helping to prevent mould growth.
This pop up mix requires boiling for roughly 90 seconds for a 12mm and 120secs for 15mm hook baits.

This is far , far superior to absolutely any other in house versions other companies are offering. You just need to take one quick look at the spec sheet to see why, it contains vegetable proteins, cereals, egg products, breadcrumbs, calcareous marine shells, mawseed, fish oils and much more creating an outstanding product packed full of Minerals, vitamins and trace elements. One not to be missed.
Recommend inclusion level is up to 20% – (200g) per kg base mix.
Fluoro Yellow Wafter Mix
*Our new Coloured wafter mix has been formulated with less buoyancy.
After being asked many many times for a wafter mix we are extremely happy to offer this superb mix. Made with Milk and Egg Proteins thus increasing leakage, it also takes on attractors and flavours extremely well, you will find it easy to use and roll. It has a firm texture but remains soft enough to use with a bait needle without excessive force. This wafter mix has been made on the buoyant side allowing you to add base mix when creating matching hook baits. When being used without any other powders added to the mix a dumbell wafter (12mm size nozzle on a 15mm rolling table) will sit nicely using a size 4 hook with a ring swivel. There is always going to be a little trial and error when creating these sort of hook baits, you can alter the buoyancy of the mix by adding more powders to the wafter mix until you achieve your desired waft. Make sure you write everything down in percentages, you can then alter your percentages until you achieve your required buoyancy, also remember the buoyancy will increase slightly as the hook bait dries out, vice versa once the hook baits takes no water it will decrease the buoyancy. Calcium Caseinate
Calcium Caseinate is one of the highest quality milk proteins, with a crude protein content of 96% this soluble lactic casein should not be overlooked as even being used at moderate levels this product provides valuable essential amino acids. Care should be taken as to the inclusion levels as this product is very light and can produce buoyant baits.
Recommend inclusion level is up to 5% – (50g) per kg base mix.

Orange food grade colouring for adding to mixes.
Peanut Protein
This soluble peanut protein is with out doubt the very best nutty meal/flour on the market today by a long way, we would go as far as saying ‘game changer’ due to its solubility. This meal/flour has an extremely attractive nutty aroma and has a much higher protein content of (50% protein) than standard peanut meals (28% protein), it also has a much lower fat content of around 12% were standard peanut meal has around a 40% fat content. This leads itself to a great all year round ingredient, it is a fantastic addition to any birdfood/nutty type mixes, a must have in our opinion.

With the very well know and used Celmanax Yeast liquid being harder and harder to source, we thought we better get something in place. Corn Syrup is a thick liquid similar to Glycerine in viscosity, high sugar content that is very soluble in water, Corn Syrup is a simple monosaccharide that is readily absorbable by Carp for energy purposes and it’s no coincidence Carp love sweet tasting products.

Pure NHDC Liquid Sweetener
This fantastic Pure NHDC liquid sweetener is a fantastic addition to any bait or liquid formulation. This ultra strong sweetener won’t leave any bitter after taste and lingers in the mouth for some time. An important synergetic quality of NHDC is the enhancing sweet effect if it is combined with other sweeteners. This is many times higher than if you solely use NHDC or a single sweetener. This is where the real power lies! It amplifies the perception of other sweeteners and flavours and is absolutely essential in every sweet bait. A high quality NHDC sweetener will leave a sensory feel in the mouth (almost like a fresh airwaves chewing gum).
