Many of our new products are now exclusive to AA Baits, which allows us to formulate and offer the very best, premium quality in-house mixes, available on the market. That being said, we do keep a handful of specially sourced products close to our chest, making our mixes stand out from the rest 😉. In order for all our customers to receive a premium mix at a very fair price, we have always supplied direct. Cutting out the middle man allows us to operate using all our finest ingredients and stimulants. This also allows our finest products to be used at optimal levels.
Our Bloodstorm & squid meal groundbait has been developed around bloodworm, pure blood products, Kingfisher Red (Natural) & Squid meal. Once mixed with water it has a deep red colour and will disperse water soluble attractors through the water layers of your swim. Along with the soluble pure blood powder we have also incorporated our in house blend of milk powders, Mixed ground pellet powder and ground particle powder. It has been designed to hold together allowing it to reach the bottom of the lake bed before it starts to break down. As well as our explosive hemp groundbait once this mix reaches the bottom it then explodes creating a red cloud of attraction. Can be balled, cupped, used in method feeder, used as a stick mix or as a paste.

Tips
- Remember our sweet whey powder can be used to add binding to any mix. Start by adding 5% – 50g per kg mix, you can then adjust accordingly. Adding more will increase the binding, vice versa adding less will decrease the break down time. This is to be added to the dry mix, then mixed very well before wetting.
- We recommend slowly adding water/liquid additives to any mix, be careful not to add too much water. A nice fluffy texture that still breaks down is ideal. Too much water can make a mix go hard. More water can always be added if required, but it can’t be removed.
- 1L pump spray bottle is ideal for wetting mixes, also great for mixing liquid additives with water before wetting mix.
- Once desired texture is achieved keep in an air tight bucket/container, this helps stop it from drying out.

This extremely Nutty and creamy method mix starts to leak off attractors as soon as it enters the water. It contains a large percentage of Tigernut Flour, Tigernut Meal and our roasted peanut meal making a highly attractive nutty mix. We have managed to source a sustainable top quality insect protein meal, this black solider fly (BSF) meal is the de-fatted version, which is very important when including it in any bait due to the high levels of saturated fats which congeal and can become solid at almost room temperature. This meal is now being widely used in the fishing bait and animal feed industry. Please take consideration in to the amount used in bottom baits, due to the light nature of this product it will add buoyancy to baits.
Recommend inclusion level is up to 20% – (200g) per kg base mix.
