Our flavour house adhere’s strictly to regulatory standards, which does require removing certain chemicals from time to time, these chemicals are removed from the food & feed register for a reason. We follow the experts guidance and prioritise safety for both humans and aquatic life.
Our hook baits undergo an intensive, three-stage, high-pressure vacuum infusion process. We believe this method is the only way to truly infuse liquids deep into the core of each bait:
- First stage: Infusion with our in-house amino acid, feed-inducing stimulant
- Second stage: Infusion with a mixture of sweeteners and betaine anhydrous liquid
- Third stage: Infusion with our premium-grade, in-house flavour enhancers
These baits continuously release food signals from the liquid foods and stimulants, offering extended attraction, while also generating an investigation signal via pH change from one of our infused liquids.
We also provide our in-house 30ml flavour enhancers, ideal for boosting all types of baits.

Recommended inclusion levels are 5-10ml per kg base mix. When using a new flavour we always advise creating a small batch of baits and starting with the lower recommended level, you can then add more going forward until you achieve your desired aroma.
For high attract pop ups & wafters we recommend adding up to 5 ml per 1 egg mix, some flavours are stronger than others so don’t be afraid to experiment.
When adding to your own glugs & liquids we recommend adding at 2% – 5% (5ml – 12ml flavour – 250ml glug), again when using a new flavour we always advise starting with the lower recommended level, you can then add more going forward until you achieve your desired aroma.
To boost your hook baits, you can use our PVA friendly Betaine liquid, DMPT liquid or Glycerine (all found under liquid foods) to dilute your chosen flavour down. Some anglers like to boost their hook baits with neat flavour whilst some like to dilute the strength down. We recommend adding the flavour at 5% (12ml flavour – 250ml booster liquid). This % can always be increased until you achieve your chosen strength. You can also add a wide variety of liquid foods etc adding more attraction to your unique booster.

Our Spicy SKS Hookbaits have been developed to perfectly complement the Spicy SKS boilie range, carrying the same distinctive Squid, Krill & Shrimp marine profile and warming spice characteristics into a purpose-built hookbait formulation enhanced by our intensive three-stage high-pressure vacuum infusion process.
These aren’t simply standard hookbaits coated in flavour.
Considerable development has gone into the flavour enhancers, amino acid stimulants, sweeteners and liquid packages used within them, with each finished hookbait repeatedly vacuum infused to draw attraction deep into the core of the bait.
Available as Pop-Ups, Wafters and Hard Hookers, the range gives you the flexibility to fish the Spicy SKS profile across virtually any presentation.
THE SPICY SKS PROFILE
The hookbaits carry the same distinctive marine, savoury and subtly warming spicy profile developed for our Spicy SKS food bait.
The original boilie is built around premium marine ingredients including Norwegian LT94 Fishmeal, CPSP90 Pre-Digested Fishmeal, Krill Meal, Squid Meal, Shrimp Hydrolysate, Full Fat Green Lipped Mussel, Beef Liver and marine hydrolysates, complemented by our carefully developed chilli and flavour systems.
Our signature spice profile incorporates premium chilli products including Kingfisher Red (Natural), while our in-house flavour enhancement system uses carefully selected food-grade and feed-safe flavour components formulated primarily around taste, not aroma.
We don’t formulate a hookbait simply to produce the strongest possible smell when the pot is opened. We want the combination of marine food signals, spice, flavour and feeding stimulants to provide a meaningful stimulus when a carp actually investigates, tastes and takes the bait.
That certainly doesn’t mean Spicy SKS lacks aroma. The hookbaits have a distinctive, rich marine profile, but without relying on aggressive levels of aroma-led chemicals simply to make them smell excessively strong.

Where these hookbaits really separate themselves is in the manufacturing process.
Every Spicy SKS Hookbait undergoes our intensive three-stage high-pressure vacuum infusion process.
Rather than simply soaking or coating the finished bait, each stage is designed to draw a different attraction package deep into its structure.
Stage 1 – Amino Acid Feed Stimulation
The first infusion introduces our proprietary 100% soluble amino acid feed-inducing stimulant, providing highly soluble food signals designed to encourage investigation and feeding.
Stage 2 – Sweetener, Betaine & Feeding Response
The second stage introduces a carefully balanced combination of sweeteners and Betaine Anhydrous liquid, adding another layer of taste and feeding stimulation.
Stage 3 – Spicy SKS Flavour Enhancement
The final infusion introduces our premium in-house Spicy SKS flavour enhancers, completing the distinctive marine and spicy taste profile while driving the liquid attraction package deep into the hookbait.
It’s an extremely time-consuming process, but one we believe makes a genuine difference.
ATTRACTION FROM THE INSIDE OUT
Because the liquids are infused throughout the bait rather than simply applied to its surface, the hookbait contains attraction from the outside right through to the core.
Once submerged, soluble amino acids, feeding stimulants, sweeteners, Betaine and flavour components can begin leaking into the surrounding water.
This provides an immediate signal while allowing attraction to continue releasing over an extended period.
One of our infused liquids also creates a localised pH shift, adding a further investigation signal around the hookbait.

CSL Pellets
Boosted CSL Feed Pellets
We’re proud to introduce our newly formulated Boosted CSL Feed Pellets, developed to our own bespoke in-house recipe with one key objective: to produce a highly active, attractive feed pellet built around a large inclusion of active CSL liquid.
CSL has long been regarded as an extremely effective bait ingredient, and rather than simply using it as an external coating or after-treatment, we’ve incorporated a substantial amount directly into the pellet formulation itself. This allows the attraction to run throughout the finished pellet, creating a consistent release of soluble food signals and attractors once introduced to the water.
Combined with a carefully selected blend of powders, yeast, amino acids and our own in-house additives, the result is a seriously attractive pellet designed for use throughout the year.
Packed with Active Ingredients

Rather than relying on a simple surface coating, these key ingredients are incorporated directly into the finished pellet. As the pellet begins to break down and soften in the water, it continually releases its attraction into the surrounding area.
Built Around CSL
The star of the formulation is undoubtedly the high level of active CSL liquid.
We wanted these pellets to contain a genuinely significant amount of CSL rather than simply enough to put the name on the bag. Getting such a high liquid inclusion incorporated into the pellet itself was an important part of the development process and is what makes this formulation particularly exciting.
The CSL is complemented by CSL powder and beta yeast, while our in-house sweetener and feeding stimulant adds another dimension to the pellet’s overall attraction and palatability.
We’ve then included Megamino, our own amino acid supplement, to further enhance the formulation and create a pellet packed with the type of soluble attraction we look for in our own baits.
Attraction From the Inside Out
One of the biggest advantages of these pellets is that their attraction isn’t dependent on an external coating.
The CSL and other key ingredients form part of the pellet itself, meaning the pellet continues to give off attractive food signals as water penetrates and it begins to break down. This provides a sustained release rather than simply washing away a surface treatment shortly after the pellet enters the water.
They can be used straight from the bag or incorporated into spod and Spomb mixes, PVA bags, particle mixes, groundbaits and loose-feed applications. They can also provide an excellent base for anglers wanting to add their own liquids or powders and create a customised pellet mix.
A Seriously Active Feed Pellet
We’ve put a lot of work into developing a CSL pellet that properly reflects what we want from this classic bait ingredient.
With a high level of active CSL liquid incorporated directly into the formulation, backed up by Cal powder, beta yeast, Megamino and our own sweetener and feeding stimulant, these are far more than a standard feed pellet with CSL added to the outside.
They’re a highly attractive, purpose-built feed pellet designed from the ground up for anglers who want to introduce plenty of soluble attraction and food signals into their swim.
