HNV Fishmeal Base Mix
**Our fishmeal base mixes contain our genuine premium Norwegian LT-94 fishmeal. This HNV mix now also contains our 100% soluble Acti-Fish fishmeal along side the well know CPSP90 Fishmeal. Along with our newly sourced feed stimulants.
Over the last few years, we have worked tremendously hard sourcing only the highest quality ingredients, liquids, and additives available from all over the globe. Many of our new products are now exclusive to AA Baits, which allows us to formulate and offer the very best, premium quality in-house mixes, available on the market. That being said, we do keep a handful of specially sourced products close to our chest, making our mixes stand out from the rest 😉. In order for all our customers to receive a premium mix at a very fair price, we have always supplied direct. Cutting out the middle man allows us to operate using all our finest ingredients and stimulants. This also allows our finest products to be used at optimal levels.
Our HNV Fishmeal basemix has been developed using a combination of high quality Norwegian (LT-94) fishmeal and (CPSP 90) Pre-digested fishmeal alongside CLO, milk and egg proteins and proven appetite stimulators providing a perfectly balanced mix that can be used all year round with confidence. Ideal for long term baiting campaigns.
Use approximately 9 eggs per Kg of dry base mix.
All our base mix’s are tried, tested and roll perfectly. We use only the highest quality ingredients available, in all optimum levels formulating an excellent food source which in turn keeps the fish coming back for more as they become familiar with the nutritional value of the bait.
Contains: Large Amount of Norwegian LT94 Fishmeal, (CPSP 90) Pre-digested Fishmeal, Actifish (100% soluble) Fishmeal, Salmon Fishmeal, CLO, and a blend of high quality Casein’s\Caseinate’s, Betaine & Egg proteins to name just a few ingredients in this mix.
Our mixes do arrive ready to roll, but many of our customers do add their own ingredients and additives to make it a unique formulation. Please bear in mind altering the mix may affect the rolling so some trial and error might be required depending on the products being added.

Krill Meal – 5%
Brocacel yeast – 2.5%
GLM Powder – 5%
Spices – 2.5%
TIP: When making your own boilies it gives you the chance to NOT boil some. This allows you to have baits that haven’t been boiled, which in turn looses some goodness. But most of all it allows these baits to break down and disperse all the soluble attractors and feed stimulants into your swim much faster. These baits would require being kept in a bucket/container to save being crushed/broken once dried. Again these baits wouldn’t be hard enough to be used in a throwing stick.
Chocolate Malt Concentrate
This chocolate malt flavour provides a soft/creamy chocolate aroma .
Recommended inclusion levels are 6-10ml per kg base mix. When using a new flavour we always advise creating a small batch of baits and starting with the lower recommended level, you can then add more going forward until you achieve your desired aroma.
For high attract pop ups & wafters we recommend adding up to 5 ml per 1 egg mix, some flavours are stronger than others so don’t be afraid to experiment.
When adding to your own glugs & liquids we recommend adding at 2% – 5% (5ml – 12ml flavour – 250ml glug), again when using a new flavour we always advise starting with the lower recommended level, you can then add more going forward until you achieve your desired aroma.
To boost your hook baits, you can use our PVA friendly Betaine liquid, DMPT liquid or Glycerine (all found under liquid foods) to dilute your chosen flavour down. Some anglers like to boost their hook baits with neat flavour whilst some like to dilute the strength down. We recommend adding the flavour at 5% (12ml flavour – 250ml booster liquid). This % can always be increased until you achieve your chosen strength. You can also add a wide variety of liquid foods etc adding more attraction to your unique booster.
All our concentrated flavours are of the highest grade/quality available on the market. As with all concentrated flavours and liquids, use in a well ventilated area and always wear safety glasses.
This is a PG based flavour which has been created with nature identical flavourings and has been carefully created to give a very appetising flavour as well as the aroma (smell), some flavours out there are mainly based on aroma chemicals (smell), with the flavour not given much thought.
Liquid Liver (Pharmaceutical Grade)
This liquid liver is high end pharmaceutical grade, it has been through a process to extract the most beneficial nutrients available from the liver. This high grade liquid liver is of beef origin.
Great multi-range product, useful for spod/stick/base mixes etc.
The recommended inclusion level is up to 30ml per kg base mix, depending on the amount of other liquids you might be adding.
All our liquid foods are of the highest grade available on the market.
Whey Protein Concentrate 80%
Whey Protein Concentrate 80% as its name suggest has a protein content in excess of 80% and provides a good amino acid profile that will improve any bait, this product has excellent binding qualities, aids rolling and works as a functional bait hardener.
Recommend inclusion level is up to 10% – (100g) per kg base mix. Inclusion rate’s of around 2.5 – 5% in a Fishmeal based bait is sufficient, higher levels can be used in a Milk/Birdfood/Nut type mixes around 5 – 10%.
