Intensive Real-World Testing
Before release, MegaMino underwent extensive in-tank testing over many months. Trials were conducted in tanks containing carp, with some being over the 30lb mark, allowing us to observe genuine behavioural responses in controlled conditions.
The reaction we observed was unlike anything we have seen previously. Fish consistently showed rapid investigation and prolonged feeding behaviour around bait treated with MegaMino, demonstrating the strength of the amino signal in the water.

Each paste contains our in-house bait boost powder, crafted from a blend of the highest quality yeasts. This includes high-nucleotide yeast, which consists of cell contents and cell walls of brewers’ yeast, extracted through gentle and effective hydrolysis processes. This allows the individual cell components to provide maximum benefits. The powder also features two additional additives with proven powerful antibacterial and anti-fungal properties, alongside potent feed stimulants.
Our custom-formulated in-house flavour enhancers are also incorporated. Buoyancy can be easily adjusted by altering the inclusion level to suit your specific hookbait recipe.
Usage Tip
For best results, start at 4–5% inclusion for wafters and 10% or higher for pop-ups. Always test your finished hookbaits in water, as buoyancy will vary depending on other ingredients used.
