    Price range: £7.99 through £304.99

XXL Tigernuts are grade from 10mm to 25mm with various shapes and sizes in the mix from long thin nuts to large round nuts. With all the different shapes and sizes you will be sure to find the right combination for all your requirements.

CAUTION: All dry particles and nuts will absorb water and expand once submerged, for this reason they MUST all be prepared correctly (Soaked for a given time and cooked for a given time). Failure to prepare properly can be deadly to fish.

TO PREPARE: Soak for a minimum of 24 hours then boil vigorously for 30 minutes. If you leave the prepared Tiger nuts in an air tight bucket/container for a few days after boiling they will start to ferment, the water will turn gloopy/milky due to all the sugars in the nuts being released.

Note: Once cooked you can also add liquid foods, oils or bait additives of your choice to add even more attraction.

We have managed to source this outstanding krill meal (QRILL Pet) which has a stronger more pungent aroma and a darker deeper orange colour compared to the krill Aqua, with a minimum protein content of 60%, plus a higher essential amino acid and Omega 3 content making this the highest quality krill meal available (you won’t find better anywhere). The texture that is obtained from including Krill meal in to baits aids higher leakage of attractors in to the water. This is a heavier material (not had as much oil extracted) but we still advise to take consideration in to the amount used in bottom baits, due to the light nature of this product it will still add buoyancy to baits.

Recommend inclusion level is up to 10% – (100g) per kg base mix (bottom baits), dependant on other ingredients used.

Recommend inclusion level is up to 20% – (200g) per kg base mix when being used in floating/buoyant mixes.

Dimethyl propiothetin (DMPT) is an algae metabolite. It is a natural sulfur-containing compound (thio betaine) and is considered the strongest attractor available. In several lab- and field tests DMPT comes out as the best feed inducing stimulant ever tested. DMPT not only improves feed intake, but also acts as a water soluble hormone-like substance. DMPT also enhances the ability to cope with stress associated with catch / transportation of fish and other aquatic animals.

Recommended inclusion level is 0.5g to 2g per Kg of base mix, (hook bait base mix only). Can be used up to 2g per Litre of liquid in bait soaks/dips. With this ultra-strong additive, less is more. If used too much the bait WILL NOT be taken.

Always use gloves, do not taste / ingest or inhale, keep away from eyes, pets and children.

Use only in hookbaits (lures) which will not be digested.

It is not allowed to be fed to fish and animals in general according to EU decree 1831/2003.

Soluble Pea Protein 82% – Food Grade

Our Soluble Pea Protein 82% is a premium food-grade, high-protein and water-soluble pea protein, offering an exciting ingredient for modern fishing bait, boilie and aquaculture formulations.

Containing an impressive 82% protein, this refined pea protein provides a highly concentrated source of plant-based protein while also offering excellent solubility. This makes it particularly interesting for bait formulations where both nutritional value and the release of soluble attraction into the water are important.

A Highly Soluble Protein for Fishing Bait

Unlike our coarser 75% Feed Grade Pea Protein, this premium food-grade version is much finer and significantly more soluble.

When incorporated into boilies and other fishing baits, its soluble fractions can begin releasing into the surrounding water, helping create a readily available food signal around the bait.

This makes Soluble Pea Protein 82% particularly useful when formulating high-attract boilies, hookbaits, pastes, groundbaits, stick mixes and other soluble bait products.

    A Sustainable Alternative Protein Source

Pea protein is becoming increasingly popular throughout the aquaculture, animal nutrition and fishing bait industries as manufacturers search for sustainable alternative protein sources.

Its high protein content and useful amino acid profile make it an excellent ingredient for combining with fishmeals, marine proteins and other nutritional ingredients. It can also be used to replace a proportion of the fishmeal within certain formulations, helping diversify the overall protein profile of the finished bait.

For bait makers, this provides an interesting way of introducing a high-quality plant protein without sacrificing overall protein content, while its solubility offers an additional attraction benefit.

    Key Benefits

    • 82% protein
    • Premium food-grade quality
    • High water solubility
    • Fine, refined consistency
    • Excellent source of soluble protein
    • Sustainable plant-based protein source
    • Useful alternative or complementary protein to fishmeal
    • Helps increase the soluble protein fraction of fishing baits
    • Excellent for nutritional and high-attract formulations
    • Suitable for both commercial bait manufacturers and home bait makers

    Fishing Bait Applications

Soluble Pea Protein 82% can be incorporated into a wide variety of fishing bait formulations, including:

    Boilies • Hookbaits • Pastes • Groundbaits • Stick Mixes • PVA Bag Mixes • High-Attract Baits

It works particularly well alongside fishmeals, hydrolysed proteins, milk proteins, yeasts and other soluble ingredients when creating nutritionally attractive baits with excellent leakage characteristics.

    Recommended Inclusion

Suggested starting inclusion: 50–250g per kg of base mix.

Lower inclusion levels can be used to introduce an additional soluble protein fraction to an existing recipe, while higher levels allow Soluble Pea Protein to contribute more significantly to the overall protein content and characteristics of the finished bait.

As with any functional bait ingredient, we recommend testing inclusion levels within your individual formulation to achieve the desired binding, texture, solubility and breakdown characteristics.

Whether you’re looking for a soluble protein for boilie making, a sustainable alternative to fishmeal, or simply a new high-protein ingredient to enhance an existing formulation, our Food Grade Soluble Pea Protein 82% offers bait makers an extremely versatile option.
