  We are pleased to offer a premium range of hook baits, meticulously developed through extensive behind-the-scenes efforts in formulation. Our team has dedicated considerable time and expertise to carefully craft each flavour enhancer and feed stimulant liquid pack.

  Our in-house flavour enhancers are formulated using a blend of high-quality, food-grade, and feed-safe ingredients, including oleoresins, essential oils, premium liquid hydrolysates, sweeteners, NHDC sweetener, and our proprietary soluble amino acid stimulant. These formulations are designed to be highly attractive and effective.

  All our flavours are based on taste rather than aroma. Flavours formulated based on aroma utilise completely different chemicals, but our focus remains on creating flavours that taste pleasant rather than just smelling strong. While personal preferences vary, this approach reflects our commitment to delivering safe effective products.

  In addition, we exclusively offer flavours that are feed-safe, ensuring their suitability for inclusion in animal feeds and other applications. Our flavour house adhere’s strictly to regulatory standards, which does require removing certain chemicals from time to time, these chemicals are removed from the food & feed register for a reason. We follow the experts guidance and prioritise safety for both humans and aquatic life.

  Our hook baits undergo an intensive, three-stage, high-pressure vacuum infusion process. We believe this method is the only way to truly infuse liquids deep into the core of each bait:

  • First stage: Infusion with our in-house amino acid, feed-inducing stimulant
  • Second stage: Infusion with a mixture of sweeteners and betaine anhydrous liquid
  • Third stage: Infusion with our premium-grade, in-house flavour enhancers

   

  These baits continuously release food signals from the liquid foods and stimulants, offering extended attraction, while also generating an investigation signal via pH change from one of our infused liquids.

  We also provide our in-house 30ml flavour enhancers, ideal for boosting all types of baits.

  New Ultra Buoyant Plain Pop Up Mix

  *Please note that you will need to add more of the new pop up mix to your liquid egg than with our original mix, not adding enough pop up mix with create really soft pop ups. You need to add as much pop up mix as you can, stopping just before the dough goes too dry.

  This pop-up mix will make extremely buoyant hook baits which will remain buoyant for days (we tested a 12mm for 5 days). We have been asked over and over again for a pop-up mix that is buoyant enough for a 12mm hook bait to hold a size 4 hook up with a ring swivel, look no further this pop-up does just that. The 12mm hook baits we have experimented with have stayed popped up for 5 days, we then stopped testing. Made with Milk and Egg Proteins thus increasing leakage, it also takes on attractors and flavours extremely well, you will find it easy to use and roll. It has a firm texture but remains soft enough to use with a bait needle without excessive force.

  One egg will take approximately 80-100 grams of pop-up mix. You will get approximately 5 pots of pop ups per 250 grams of pop-up mix once made.

  Simply add 40g Fluoro dye per kg pop-up mix to create fluorescent hook baits. For washed out add 20g white dye and 20g fluoro dye per kg pop up mix. These are recommendations and can be altered until you achieve your desired colour. Add both pop-up mix and your chosen dyes into a large plastic bag, then close bag trapping some air inside and shake well until mixed evenly.

  With this mix being so buoyant it allows you to add extra base mix when creating wafters.

  For shelf life hook baits add 10-15ml of bait preserve per egg. It is important to remember the main part of the process is to dry your hook baits well prior to storing, usually a minimum of 48hrs, it can be slightly longer in the colder months due to extra moisture being in the air, the longer your hook baits are dried the less the moisture content will be helping to prevent mould growth.

  This pop up mix requires boiling for roughly 90 seconds for a 12mm and 120secs for 15mm hook baits.

We have included some high quality ingredients, additives & liquids into the new formulation, creating a highly attractive and nutritional pellet. The formulation contains a reasonable inclusion of pure blood powder, giving the finished pellet a much darker colour.   After being asked many many times for a wafter mix we are extremely happy to offer this superb mix. Made with Milk and Egg Proteins thus increasing leakage, it also takes on attractors and flavours extremely well, you will find it easy to use and roll. It has a firm texture but remains soft enough to use with a bait needle without excessive force. This wafter mix has been made on the buoyant side allowing you to add base mix when creating matching hook baits. When being used without any other powders added to the mix a dumbell wafter (12mm size nozzle on a 15mm rolling table) will sit nicely using a size 4 hook with a ring swivel. There is always going to be a little trial and error when creating these sort of hook baits, you can alter the buoyancy of the mix by adding more powders to the wafter mix until you achieve your desired waft. Make sure you write everything down in percentages, you can then alter your percentages until you achieve your required buoyancy, also remember the buoyancy will increase slightly as the hook bait dries out, vice versa once the hook baits takes no water it will decrease the buoyancy.
