Tips
- You can add our sweet whey powder to increase binding to any mix. Start by adding 5% – 50g per kg mix, you can then adjust accordingly. Adding more will increase the binding, vice versa adding less will decrease the break down time. Add to the dry mix, then mix very well before wetting.
- We recommend slowly adding water/liquid additives to any mix, be careful not to add too much water. A nice fluffy texture that still breaks down is ideal. Too much water can make a mix go hard.

Our Ocean + Groundbait has been formulated with a mixture of highest quality fishmeal’s and soluble hydrolysate powders available, along with a mixture of highly attractive additives and feed stimulants. We are happy to be able to offer the base liquid that is used widely in the fishing bait industry to create a hazy, foggy cloud. This liquid will disperse vertically through all the water layers creating a cloud of attraction throughout your swim.
We have left enough room in each squeezy bottle for you create your very own unique cloudy liquid. Simply add your own chosen liquids and flavours and shake well. We now offer all of our concentrated flavours in 30ml booster/sample bottles which allows you to create any flavour liquid you desire. For colouring we now also offer a selection of liquid dyes (highly concentrated) which can simply be added to the cloudy liquid until you achieve your own desired strength. AABaits Pop-Up Mix
Our AABaits Pop-Up Mix has been refined to improve handling and make rolling easier, while adding slightly more structure to the core. It now matches the buoyancy of our Ultra Buoyant Pop-Up Mix.
This mix can be used with either water or liquid egg, alongside bait preservative. When using water and bait preservative, the finished baits will still be sufficiently firm. For those who prefer a harder finish, using liquid egg with bait preservative will increase firmness slightly compared to water.
For best results, always weigh your liquids (egg or water) and powders accurately. Pop-up mixes require precise measurements, so we recommend using scales accurate to at least 1g to ensure consistency.
This mix produces extremely buoyant hook baits that will remain popped up for days. In our tank tests, 12mm pop-ups tied to a size 4 hook with a micro ring swivel remained buoyant for over 7 days (testing was stopped at that point).
Made with milk and egg proteins, along with high-quality milk powders, this mix offers excellent leakage and takes on flavours and attractors extremely well. It is easy to use and roll, with a firm yet workable texture that allows use with a bait needle without excessive force.

Overall Ratio:
The standard ratio is 1.46g powder to 1g liquid. This can be adjusted slightly when incorporating additional liquids and powdered additives such as flavours, oils, liquid foods, or powdered attractors.
As a starting point for more customised mixes, you may reduce the ratio to around 1.35g powder to 1g liquid, then fine-tune as required to achieve your preferred consistency and workability.
This yields approximately 250g of finished pop-up baits.

Drying & Storage
Proper drying is essential. Air dry for at least 48 hours before storing—longer in colder or more humid conditions. The lower the moisture content, the better the resistance to mould.
Colouring Guide
Add both the pop-up mix and dyes into a sealed bag with some trapped air, then shake thoroughly to ensure even distribution. Adjust levels as required to achieve your desired colour.
Wafters
Due to the high buoyancy of this mix, additional base mix can be added when producing wafters.
Choc B Flavour
This Choc B flavour is chocolate/vanilla that has been used many years ago with great affect by well know anglers. It was mainly used for flavouring prepared particles but can also be used in boilie mixes. This flavour is extremely dark and will penetrate the likes of Tigernuts right through to the core, with it being so dark and penetrating to the core it realises a dark cloud of highly attractive flavour throughout your swim.
Can be used to soak the particles in as well as cooking them, helping to penetrate into the prepared baits. Try starting of with adding 50ml to 5kg of particles and go from there.

Limestone Flour
Limestone flour will provide a firmness to finished baits along with a gritty texture that will give a bit of a crunch to the boilies, Limestone flour is also high in calcium and adds weight/density to baits allowing them to be thrown further with a throwing stick.

Our Ocean + Liquid is a rich thick liquid that contains some of our very best ultra soluble hydrolysates, liquid foods and paste. It has been formulated with a mixture of the best marine-derived proteins and essential amino acids.
