Our in-house flavour enhancers are formulated using a blend of high-quality, food-grade, and feed-safe ingredients, including oleoresins, essential oils, premium liquid hydrolysates, sweeteners, NHDC sweetener, and our proprietary soluble amino acid stimulant. All our flavours are based on taste rather than aroma. Flavours formulated based on aroma utilise completely different chemicals, but our focus remains on creating flavours that taste pleasant rather than just smelling strong. In addition, we exclusively offer flavours that are feed-safe, ensuring their suitability for inclusion in animal feeds and other applications. Our hook baits undergo an intensive, three-stage, high-pressure vacuum infusion process. We believe this method is the only way to truly infuse liquids deep into the core of each bait:

These powder additives are widely used to enhance the palatability & intake of feeds & flavours, this highly attractive additive has been used in our industry for some time, it is made from a combination of Lactones and Aldehydes. when using in conjunction with other additives we recommend a starting point of 5-10g per kg base mix.

Over the last few years, we have worked tremendously hard sourcing only the highest quality ingredients, liquids, and additives available from all over the globe. Many of our new products are now exclusive to AA Baits, which allows us to formulate and offer the very best, premium quality in-house mixes, available on the market. That being said, we do keep a handful of specially sourced products close to our chest, making our mixes stand out from the rest 😉. In order for all our customers to receive a premium mix at a very fair price, we have always supplied direct. Cutting out the middle man allows us to operate using all our finest ingredients and stimulants. This also allows our finest products to be used at optimal levels.
Our Ocean + Groundbait has been formulated with a mixture of highest quality fishmeal’s and soluble hydrolysate powders available, along with a mixture of highly attractive additives and feed stimulants. This mix contain’s pure green lipped mussel, krill meal, shrimp meal and squid meal, all are absolutely rammed with attraction and nutritional goodness. We have also included a mixture of the highest grade, ultra soluble hydrolysate powders available and if that isn’t enough we have also added the most pungent and powerful soluble fishmeal attractor available (CPSP 90), which has created a seriously devastating soluble groundbait. It has been designed to hold together allowing it to reach the bottom of the lake bed before it starts to breakdown. Can be balled, cupped, used in method feeder, used as a stick mix or as a paste.
We also supply a matching, extremely attractive liquid food.

Brown Iron Oxide (E172)
Brown Iron Oxide Dye (E172) food grade & feed permitted colouring for adding to mixes.
Micronized Maize Meal (Newly Sourced)
*Newly sourced, Coarser than our previous supply.
Micronized Maize meal is mainly used in ground baits and method mixes. Made by grinding maize it has a white and yellow speckled appearance and a coarse texture. Can also be used in base mixes.
(Micronized) means it has had some form of heat treatment (usually infra red) this enables more of the nutrients to become available.
Recommend inclusion level is up to 10% – (100g) per kg base mix.
Choc B Flavour
This Choc B flavour is chocolate/vanilla that has been used many years ago with great affect by well know anglers. It was mainly used for flavouring prepared particles but can also be used in boilie mixes. This flavour is extremely dark and will penetrate the likes of Tigernuts right through to the core, with it being so dark and penetrating to the core it realises a dark cloud of highly attractive flavour throughout your swim.
Can be used to soak the particles in as well as cooking them, helping to penetrate into the prepared baits. Try starting of with adding 50ml to 5kg of particles and go from there.
Recommended inclusion levels are 6-14ml per kg base mix. When using a new flavour we always advise creating a small batch of baits and starting with the lower recommended level, you can then add more going forward until you achieve your desired aroma.
For high attract pop ups & wafters we recommend adding up to 6 ml per 1 egg mix, some flavours are stronger than others so don’t be afraid to experiment.
When adding to your own glugs & liquids we recommend adding at 2% – 5% (5ml – 12ml flavour – 250ml glug), again when using a new flavour we always advise starting with the lower recommended level, you can then add more going forward until you achieve your desired aroma.
To boost your hook baits, you can use our PVA friendly Betaine liquid, DMPT liquid or Glycerine (all found under liquid foods) to dilute your chosen flavour down. Some anglers like to boost their hook baits with neat flavour whilst some like to dilute the strength down. We recommend adding the flavour at 5% (12ml flavour – 250ml booster liquid). This % can always be increased until you achieve your chosen strength. You can also add a wide variety of liquid foods etc adding more attraction to your unique booster.
All our concentrated flavours are of the highest grade/quality available on the market. As with all concentrated flavours and liquids, use in a well ventilated area and always wear safety glasses.
This is a water based flavour which has been created with nature identical flavourings and has been carefully created to give a very appetising flavour as well as the aroma (smell), some flavours out there are mainly based on aroma chemicals (smell), with the flavour not given much thought.
