Shrimp / Belachan Paste

The options may be chosen on the product pageThis fantastic fermented shrimp paste is a very similar makeup to liquid belachan. This paste is more pure than the solid belachan block version due to not having any bulk fillers and also takes away the hassle of grating it down. The shrimp content is also very high around 65%, the shrimp is crushed then salt added for preservative, once dried it is then mixed with Lactic Acid Bacteria and left to ferment, whilst being left its proteins are broken down which then realise a wide range of free form amino acids, used by many anglers in there baits and mixes, one definitely not to nee over looked.
Recommend inclusion level is up to 40g per kg base mix.

We have formulated a premium grade additive in-house. It contains a mixture of the highest quality additives available. One being a very high grade, high nucleotide yeast which consists of the cell contents and the cell walls of brewers’ yeast. These are extracted by gentle and effective hydrolysis processes from their natural matrix so that the individual cell components are able to optimally take their full effects and become easily available. This fantastic bait boost powder has also been formulated with two other additives that offer a very, very powerful antibacterial and anti fugal properties. The last two additives are a highly attractive feed stimulant with a mixture of sweetener’s. This is a definite for a long term bait, this will not only offer attraction and improve feed intake but will also help with protection from bacterial infections. Description
MSG (Monosodium Glutamate) is derived from fermented seaweed a well-known feeding trigger and taste enhancer, much like salt. This is used to enhance the taste of foods and now well used in the bait industry, it intensifies the taste of amino acids making it a great addition to any bait.
Recommended inclusion level is 0.4% to 0.5% (4-5g) per Kg of base mix. We advise not going over the recommend levels.

Pineapple Concentrate
This pineapple flavour is another huge fruit favourite and has often been the flavour used in the colder months particularly for high-attract hook baits when used with N-Butyric acid. However, it is also a proven fish catcher throughout the summer.
Recommended inclusion levels are 5-10ml per kg base mix. When using a new flavour we always advise creating a small batch of baits and starting with the lower recommended level, you can then add more going forward until you achieve your desired aroma.
For high attract pop ups & wafters we recommend adding up to 5 ml per 1 egg mix, some flavours are stronger than others so don’t be afraid to experiment.
When adding to your own glugs & liquids we recommend adding at 2% – 5% (5ml – 12ml flavour – 250ml glug), again when using a new flavour we always advise starting with the lower recommended level, you can then add more going forward until you achieve your desired aroma.
To boost your hook baits, you can use our PVA friendly Betaine liquid, DMPT liquid or Glycerine (all found under liquid foods) to dilute your chosen flavour down. Some anglers like to boost their hook baits with neat flavour whilst some like to dilute the strength down. We recommend adding the flavour at 5% (12ml flavour – 250ml booster liquid). This % can always be increased until you achieve your chosen strength. You can also add a wide variety of liquid foods etc adding more attraction to your unique booster.
All our concentrated flavours are of the highest grade/quality available on the market. As with all concentrated flavours and liquids, use in a well ventilated area and always wear safety glasses.
This is a PG based flavour which has been created with nature identical flavourings and has been carefully created to give a very appetising flavour as well as the aroma (smell), some flavours out there are mainly based on aroma chemicals (smell), with the flavour not given much thought.
