MegaMino®
Price range: £9.99 through £8,499.99 Select options This product has multiple variants. The options may be chosen on the product pageMegaMino® – Advanced Amino Liquid for Carp Bait
After more than 18 months of development, testing and refinement, MegaMino® is finally here.
This isn’t just another amino liquid. MegaMino® represents a major advancement in bait nutrition, fish attraction, and amino technology.
Developed specifically for carp and other coarse fish, MegaMino® delivers an exceptionally high concentration of key amino acids—making it almost five times stronger than many original amino liquid products. More importantly, it has been formulated around fish physiology, not human nutrition.
Designed for Fish, Not Humans
Many amino liquids available today are based on ingredients originally developed for human food or supplements. While these products can contain useful amino acids, they are rarely designed around the way fish detect food or their nutritional requirements.
MegaMino® has been developed from the ground up with:
- Fish feeding behaviour
- Fish detection mechanisms
- Nutritional requirements of carp
- Maximum water solubility
Every amino acid has been carefully balanced to create a powerful feeding signal that carp can detect quickly and respond to with confidence.
Powerful Amino Attraction
MegaMino® has been formulated to produce an intense amino signal in the water.
The carefully balanced amino acid profile encourages fish to:
- Detect bait faster
- Investigate more confidently
- Feed for longer periods
The result is exceptional attraction while maintaining the nutritional quality of your bait.
Laboratory Tested & Fully Transparent
We believe anglers should know exactly what they’re buying.
That’s why MegaMino® has undergone independent laboratory analysis, with a full amino acid specification available.
This allows bait makers and anglers to see the strength, composition and quality of the formulation for themselves.
Extensively Tested on Carp
Before launch, MegaMino® underwent months of controlled testing using tanks stocked with carp, including fish weighing over 30lb.
These trials allowed us to observe genuine feeding behaviour under controlled conditions.
The results were exceptional.
Fish consistently located treated bait quickly, investigated it aggressively and displayed prolonged feeding behaviour around bait treated with MegaMino®.
The strength of the amino signal was unlike anything we had previously witnessed.
The Ultimate Finishing Liquid
MegaMino® is an incredibly versatile bait additive and works perfectly as a finishing liquid for:
- Boilies
- Hookbaits
- Pellets
- Spod mixes
- Stick mixes
- Base mixes
Its high solubility allows it to disperse rapidly through the water, creating a strong amino trail that helps fish locate your baited area.
Whether you’re boosting ready-made bait or improving your own recipes, MegaMino® provides outstanding attraction in any situation.
Recommended Inclusion Rate
For bait making, the recommended inclusion level is:
Up to 50ml per kilogram of base mix, depending on the quantity of other liquids being used.
MegaMino® can also be used as a post-coating or finishing liquid for added attraction.
The AABaits Philosophy
At AABaits, our goal has always been simple:
To produce the highest quality bait products possible, designed specifically for fish.
Every product is developed through genuine research, formulation and extensive testing—not marketing hype.
When we state that a product contains key feeding triggers and the correct amino acid profile, those ingredients are genuinely present and correctly balanced.
MegaMino® is a perfect example of this philosophy.
Every ingredient has been included for a reason, giving anglers an honest, effective product that performs exactly as claimed.

The options may be chosen on the product pageSodium Caseinate is a milk protein derived from using sodium to remove the protein content from milk. It has a protein content in excess of 96% and makes a very functional binder. Pear Drops Concentrate
Price range: £2.07 through £108.32 Select options This product has multiple variants. The options may be chosen on the product pagePear Drops Concentrate.
Recommended inclusion levels are 4-8ml per kg base mix. When using a new flavour we always advise creating a small batch of baits and starting with the lower recommended level, you can then add more going forward until you achieve your desired aroma.
For high attract pop ups & wafters we recommend adding up to 4 ml per 1 egg mix, some flavours are stronger than others so don’t be afraid to experiment.
When adding to your own glugs & liquids we recommend adding at 2% – 5% (5ml – 12ml flavour – 250ml glug), again when using a new flavour we always advise starting with the lower recommended level, you can then add more going forward until you achieve your desired aroma.
To boost your hook baits, you can use our PVA friendly Betaine liquid, DMPT liquid or Glycerine (all found under liquid foods) to dilute your chosen flavour down. Some anglers like to boost their hook baits with neat flavour whilst some like to dilute the strength down. We recommend adding the flavour at 5% (12ml flavour – 250ml booster liquid). This % can always be increased until you achieve your chosen strength. You can also add a wide variety of liquid foods etc adding more attraction to your unique booster.
All our concentrated flavours are of the highest grade/quality available on the market. As with all concentrated flavours and liquids, use in a well ventilated area and always wear safety glasses.
This is a PG based flavour which has been created with nature identical flavourings and has been carefully created to give flavour as well as the aroma (smell), some flavours out there are mainly based on aroma chemicals (smell), with the flavour not given much thought.

Explosive Hemp Groundbait
Price range: £3.66 through £114.57***THIS PRODUCT IS NOT AVAILABLE IN YOUR COUNTRY***This product has multiple variants. The options may be chosen on the product pageOver the last few years, we have worked tremendously hard sourcing only the highest quality ingredients, liquids, and additives available from all over the globe. Many of our new products are now exclusive to AA Baits, which allows us to formulate and offer the very best, premium quality in-house mixes, available on the market. That being said, we do keep a handful of specially sourced products close to our chest, making our mixes stand out from the rest 😉. In order for all our customers to receive a premium mix at a very fair price, we have always supplied direct. Cutting out the middle man allows us to operate using all our finest ingredients and stimulants. This also allows our finest products to be used at optimal levels.
Our Explosive Hemp Groundbait has been formulated to release particles and attraction through all the water layers in your swim attracting fish from far and wide. It is absolutely rammed with highly attractive oily hemp products, mixture of ground pellets and our in house blend of soluble milk powders, creating a cloud of attraction in your swim. It has been designed to hold together allowing it to reach the bottom of the lake bed before it starts to break down, once it reaches the bottom it then explodes creating a cloud of attraction. Can be balled, cupped, used in method feeder, used as a stick mix or as a paste. This ground bait is suitable for PVA mesh and PVA solid bags.
Contains
- Crushed hemp

Cost per kg
- 1kg – £4.40/kg
- 5kg – £3.40/kg
- 20kg – £2.63/kg
- 60kg – £2.29/kg
Tips
- Remember our sweet whey powder can be used to add binding to any mix. Start by adding 5% – 50g per kg mix, you can then adjust accordingly. Adding more will increase the binding, vice versa adding less will decrease the break down time. This is to be added to the dry mix, then mixed very well before wetting.
- We recommend slowly adding water/liquid additives to any mix, be careful not to add too much water. A nice fluffy texture that still breaks down is ideal. Too much water can make a mix go hard. More water can always be added if required, but it can’t be removed.
- 1L pump spray bottle is ideal for wetting mixes, also great for mixing liquid additives with water before wetting mix.
- Once desired texture is achieved keep in an air tight bucket/container, this helps stop it from drying out.
