Squid Concentrate

Recommended inclusion levels are 4-8ml per kg base mix. When using a new flavour we always advise creating a small batch of baits and starting with the lower recommended level, you can then add more going forward until you achieve your desired aroma.

Tips
- Remember our sweet whey powder can be used to add binding to any mix. Start by adding 5% – 50g per kg mix, you can then adjust accordingly. Adding more will increase the binding, vice versa adding less will decrease the break down time. This is to be added to the dry mix, then mixed very well before wetting.
- We recommend slowly adding water/liquid additives to any mix, be careful not to add too much water. A nice fluffy texture that still breaks down is ideal. Too much water can make a mix go hard. More water can always be added if required, but it can’t be removed.
- 1L pump spray bottle is ideal for wetting mixes, also great for mixing liquid additives with water before wetting mix.
- Once desired texture is achieved keep in an air tight bucket/container, this helps stop it from drying out.

Our in-house flavour enhancers are meticulously crafted using a blend of food-grade and feed-safe ingredients, including oleoresins, essential oils, premium liquid hydrolysates, sweeteners, NHDC sweetener, and our proprietary soluble amino acid stimulant. All our flavours are designed based on taste rather than aroma. Flavour formulations based on scent are created with entirely different chemical compounds, but our focus has always been on delivering flavours that taste pleasant rather than simply smell strong. Moreover, we only produce flavours that are feed-safe. All our products can be included safely in animal feed (free offerings). Our flavour house adhere’s strictly to regulatory standards, which does require removing certain chemicals from time to time, these chemicals are removed from the food & feed register for a reason.
