The 12mm hook baits we have experimented with have stayed popped up for 5 days, we then stopped testing. Made with Milk and Egg Proteins thus increasing leakage, it also takes on attractors and flavours extremely well, you will find it easy to use and roll. It has a firm texture but remains soft enough to use with a bait needle without excessive force.

  One egg will take approximately 80-100 grams of pop-up mix. You will get approximately 5 pots of pop ups per 250 grams of pop-up mix once made.

  Simply add 40g Fluoro dye per kg plain pop-up mix to create fluorescent hook baits. For washed out add 20g white dye and 20g fluoro dye per kg pop up mix. These are recommendations and can be altered until you achieve your desired colour. Add both pop-up mix and your chosen dyes into a large plastic bag, then close bag trapping some air inside and shake well until mixed evenly.

  With this mix being so buoyant it allows you to add extra base mix when creating wafters.

  For shelf life hook baits add 10-15ml of bait preserve per egg.   We have managed to source some fantastic liquid egg. This fresh liquid egg has been made from newly laid fresh hen eggs and hasn’t been produced from seconds (hen eggs that have been cracked or broken). The liquid is quickly produced then blast frozen giving a rough self life of 5/7 days if kept refrigerated once defrosted. Our liquid bait preserve can be added (mixed together thoroughly) once defrosted extending shelf life.

  • This will leave our warehouse fully frozen and will take over 36hours to fully defrost.
  • We do ship all our goods on a next day service but please do bear in mind that courier delays do happen from time to time.
