Many of our new products are now exclusive to AA Baits, which allows us to formulate and offer the very best, premium quality in-house mixes, available on the market. That being said, we do keep a handful of specially sourced products close to our chest, making our mixes stand out from the rest 😉. Cutting out the middle man allows us to operate using all our finest ingredients and stimulants. This also allows our finest products to be used at optimal levels.

Our Explosive Hemp Groundbait has been formulated to release particles and attraction through all the water layers in your swim attracting fish from far and wide. It is absolutely rammed with highly attractive oily hemp products, mixture of ground pellets and our in house blend of soluble milk powders, creating a cloud of attraction in your swim. It has been designed to hold together allowing it to reach the bottom of the lake bed before it starts to break down, once it reaches the bottom it then explodes creating a cloud of attraction. Can be balled, cupped, used in method feeder, used as a stick mix or as a paste. This ground bait is suitable for PVA mesh and PVA solid bags.

  Cost per kg

  • 1kg – £4.40/kg
  • 5kg – £3.40/kg
  • 20kg – £2.63/kg
  • 60kg – £2.29/kg

  Tips

  •  Remember our sweet whey powder can be used to add binding to any mix. Start by adding 5% – 50g per kg mix, you can then adjust accordingly. Adding more will increase the binding, vice versa adding less will decrease the break down time. This is to be added to the dry mix, then mixed very well before wetting.
  • We recommend slowly adding water/liquid additives to any mix, be careful not to add too much water. A nice fluffy texture that still breaks down is ideal. Too much water can make a mix go hard. More water can always be added if required, but it can’t be removed.
  • 1L pump spray bottle is ideal for wetting mixes, also great for mixing liquid additives with water before wetting mix.
  • Once desired texture is achieved keep in an air tight bucket/container, this helps stop it from drying out.

Cocoa Powder Light Brown – 10–12% Fat

Light Brown Cocoa Powder is a premium-grade, alkalised cocoa powder manufactured from carefully processed cocoa beans. With a cocoa butter content of 10–12%, it offers a smooth, classic cocoa profile alongside a light-to-medium brown colour, making it an extremely versatile ingredient for use within boilie, groundbait, stick mix and spod mix formulations.

Unlike natural cocoa powder, this product has been alkalised (Dutch processed) to reduce its natural acidity. This produces a smoother, more rounded cocoa taste and aroma while giving the powder its consistent light brown appearance.

The fine particle size allows it to disperse evenly throughout dry mixes, making it particularly useful where a consistent cocoa profile and colour are required throughout the finished bait.

With its distinctive chocolate aroma and palatability, cocoa powder works particularly well alongside milk proteins, birdfoods, nut meals, biscuit meals and sweet or creamy flavour profiles. It can also be incorporated at lower levels into fishmeal-based formulations to add another layer to the overall taste and aroma profile.

  Key Features

  • Premium alkalised cocoa powder
  • 10–12% cocoa butter/fat content
  • Fine light brown powder
  • Smooth, rounded cocoa taste and aroma
  • pH: 6.8–7.2
  • Excellent fine particle size and dispersion
  • Particularly suited to sweet, creamy, nut and birdfood formulations
  • Can be used in boilies, groundbaits, stick mixes and spod mixes

  Recommended Inclusion Rate

  Boilie & Base Mixes: 2.5–10%

Groundbaits / Stick & Spod Mixes: Use as required depending on the desired aroma, taste and colour.
