Recommend inclusion level is up to 1-2% / 10-20g  per kg base mix. Higher levels can be extremely effective through winter when the fish are more vulnerable to parasite’s and disease.

    This fantastic fermented shrimp paste is a very similar makeup to liquid belachan. This paste is more pure than the solid belachan block version due to not having any bulk fillers and also takes away the hassle of grating it down.     Coarse ground tigernuts contain tigernut flour and small/medium pieces of tigernut, Made from 100% tigernuts. We advise these coarse ground tigernuts to be soaked and cooked like particles due the large pieces of tigernuts.

    CAUTION: All dry particles and nuts will absorb water and expand once submerged, for this reason they MUST all be prepared correctly (Soaked for a given time and cooked for a given time). Failure to prepare properly can be deadly to fish.

    TO PREPARE: Soak for a minimum of 24 hours then boil vigorously for 30 minutes.

    Note: Once cooked you can also add liquid foods, oils or bait additives of your choice to add even more attraction.
