Strawberry Concentrate

It gives baits a smooth but slightly citrus flavour and aroma that performs very effectively throughout the year. It has proven itself to many anglers for many years .
Recommended inclusion levels are 6-10ml per kg base mix. When using a new flavour we always advise creating a small batch of baits and starting with the lower recommended level, you can then add more going forward until you achieve your desired aroma.

New Ultra Buoyant Fishmeal Pop Up Mix
*Please note that you will need to add more of the new pop up mix to your liquid egg than with our original mix, not adding enough pop up mix with create really soft pop ups. You need to add as much pop up mix as you can, stopping just before the dough goes too dry.
This Fishmeal pop-up mix will make extremely buoyant hook baits which will remain buoyant for days (we tested a 12mm for 5 days). We have been asked over and over again for a pop-up mix that is buoyant enough for a 12mm hook bait to hold a size 4 hook up with a ring swivel, look no further this pop-up does just that. The 12mm hook baits we have experimented with have stayed popped up for 5 days, we then stopped testing. Made with Milk proteins, Egg Proteins and (CPSP 90) pre-digested fishmeal thus increasing leakage. You will find it easy to use and roll. It has a firm texture but remains soft enough to use with a bait thus increasing leakage, it also takes on attractors and flavours extremely well, you will find it easy to use and roll. It has a firm texture but remains soft enough to use with a bait needle without excessive force.
One egg will take approximately 80-100 grams of pop-up mix. You will get approximately 5 pots of pop ups per 250 grams of pop-up mix once made.
Simply add 40g Fluoro dye per kg plain pop-up mix to create fluorescent hook baits. For washed out add 20g white dye and 20g fluoro dye per kg pop up mix. These are recommendations and can be altered until you achieve your desired colour. Add both pop-up mix and your chosen dyes into a large plastic bag, then close bag trapping some air inside and shake well until mixed evenly.
With this mix being so buoyant it allows you to add extra base mix when creating wafters.
For shelf life hook baits add 10-15ml of bait preserve per egg. It is important to remember the main part of the process is to dry your hook baits well prior to storing, usually a minimum of 48hrs, it can be slightly longer in the colder months due to extra moisture being in the air, the longer your hook baits are dried the less the moisture content will be helping to prevent mould growth.
This pop up mix requires boiling for roughly 90 seconds for a 12mm and 120secs for 15mm hook baits.
Plain Wafter Mix (New)
*Our new plain wafter mix has been formulated with less buoyancy.
After being asked many many times for a wafter mix we are extremely happy to offer this superb mix. Made with Milk and Egg Proteins thus increasing leakage, it also takes on attractors and flavours extremely well, you will find it easy to use and roll. It has a firm texture but remains soft enough to use with a bait needle without excessive force. This new wafter mix has now been made less buoyant, its does still allow you to add base mix (at a lower level) when creating matching hook baits. When being used without any other powders added to the mix a 15mm round hook bait should be roughly, the correct buoyancy and will sit nicely using a size 4 hook with a ring swivel. There is always going to be a little trial and error when creating these sort of hook baits, you can alter the buoyancy of our wafter mix by adding more powders to the mix until you achieve your desired waft. Make sure you write everything down in percentages, you can then alter your percentages until you achieve your required buoyancy, also remember the buoyancy will increase slightly as the hook bait dries out, vice versa once the hook baits takes no water it will decrease the buoyancy. Garlic oil needs no introduction as it has been catching carp for as long as we can remember and has an extremely potent aroma you will never forget. It creates a distinctive profile in boilies and hookbaits even when added at extremely low levels. It also boosts their immune system and helps fight infections , although this can be used to great effect for short term applications, it also makes for a terrific addition to long term food bait applications.
Recommended inclusion levels for this essential oil are 1 drop up to 0.5ml (10 drops) per kg base mix.
Caution: Best wearing Latex gloves, be warned 1 drop of this extremely strong essential oil on your hands or clothes and you won’t get rid of the aroma for quite a few days. Not girlfriend/wife friendly at all. Best used in a well ventilated room or outdoors.
