Here at AA Baits we supply an extremely wide range of high quality flavours all in quantities starting from as little as 125ml. All of our flavours are highly concentrated. We advise keeping to the recommended inclusion levels, as with any chemical additive/concentrate, more is not always better and in some cases may repel the fish, be sure to experiment and test with higher inclusion levels on a small scale before committing.

Liquid Betaine Sweetener Concentrate
Description
Our liquid betaine sweetener is great for adding a sweet taste to any bait application. ie groundbaits, spod mixes, glugs, boilie mixes, plastic baits, hook baits and so on.
Recommended inclusion levels are 1-2ml per kg base mix, 2-4ml per kg particles/spod mixes. When using a new flavour we always advise creating a small batch of baits and starting with the lower recommended level, you can then add more going forward until you achieve your desired aroma.
For high attract pop ups & wafters we recommend adding up to 1ml per 1 egg mix, some flavours are stronger than others so don’t be afraid to experiment.
When adding to your own glugs & liquids we recommend adding at 2% – 5% (5ml – 12ml flavour – 250ml glug), again when using a new flavour we always advise starting with the lower recommended level, you can then add more going forward until you achieve your desired aroma.
To boost your hook baits, you can use our PVA friendly Betaine liquid, DMPT liquid or Glycerine (all found under liquid foods) to dilute your chosen flavour down. Some anglers like to boost their hook baits with neat flavour whilst some like to dilute the strength down. We recommend adding the flavour at 5% (12ml flavour – 250ml booster liquid). This % can always be increased until you achieve your chosen strength. You can also add a wide variety of liquid foods etc adding more attraction to your unique booster.

Zig Barrels
Ultra-high buoyancy foam barrels are made specifically for use with Zig Kickers, but are also ideal as a buoyant hookbaits. The foam readily absorbs attractors and retains buoyancy indefinitely, making them useful for a myriad of hookbait applications. AA Baits Original Plain Pop Up Mix
This pop-up mix will make very buoyant hook baits which will remain buoyant in excess of 48 hours. Made with Milk and Egg Proteins thus increasing leakage, it also takes on attractors and flavours extremely well, you will find it easy to use and roll. It has a firm texture but remains soft enough to use with a bait needle without excessive force.
Simply add 40g Fluoro dye per kg plain pop-up mix to create fluorescent hook baits. For washed out add 20g white dye and 20g fluoro dye per kg pop up mix. These are recommendations and can be altered until you achieve your desired colour. Add both pop-up mix and your chosen dyes into a large plastic bag, then close bag trapping some air inside and shake well until mixed evenly.
For shelf life hook baits add 10-15ml of bait preserve per egg. It is important to remember the main part of the process is to dry your hook baits well prior to storing, usually a minimum of 48hrs, it can be slightly longer in the colder months due to extra moisture being in the air, the longer your hook baits are dried the less the moisture content will be helping to prevent mould growth.
One egg will take approximately 100-120 grams of pop-up mix. You will get approximately 5 pots of pop ups per 250 grams of pop-up mix once made.
This pop up mix needs to be boiled for 90 seconds.
Blue Cheese Powder (Food Grade)
This high food grade Blue cheese powder is a flavourful ingredient made from dried and ground blue cheese, used to add a rich, tangy flavour to your bait. The powder retains the distinctive characteristics of blue cheese, making it the perfect and very successful fish attractant. With its strong savoury taste and smell its the perfect additive to add to your bait.
Recommended inclusion levels are up to 100grams (10%) per kilo of base mix.
Betaine Hydrochloride (Betaine HCL)
Betaine HCL is an Acidic form of Betaine (Trimethylglycine), widely used in the aquaculture and animal feed industry to promote feed intake and stimulation, aid digestion and nutrition intake. Our Betaine HCL is a 98% pure, white crystalline powder. Try dissolving a little in your chosen liquid/flavour and use as a glug for boosting hook baits with. Dissolve in a little liquid and use to coat pellets. Totally water soluble and good for all year round usage.
Recommended inclusion level is around 5-15g per kg base mix .
If using in ground baits or stick mixes then the recommended inclusion level is 5g per kg of mix.
Squid Hydrolysate (Newly Sourced)
Our NEWLY SOURCED premium squid hydrolysate has been formulated using 100% pure squid and has a much, much stronger aroma. It is also much more soluble and jet black in colour. Yet another hydrolysate liquid we have been lucky enough to source from the leading global manufacturer of premium functional hydrolysates in liquid and powder form. This world wide multi-billon pound company produce only the best nutritional and extremely attractive hydrolysates available. This absolutely outstanding ultra soluble hydrolysate is packed with free form amino acids and also offers great palpability which in turn gives a much higher feed intake.
These premium hydrolysate liquids go through an intense 5 stage process, where carefully selected natural enzymes are used to completely break down the protein into single amino acids, creating an ultra soluble and palatable hydrolysate. A good way to check the quality of the hydrolysate is to mix it in water. The hydrolysate should fully dissolve, leaving no deposits sitting at the bottom, once settled.

Creamy Nut Method Mix
Over the last few years, we have worked tremendously hard sourcing only the highest quality ingredients, liquids, and additives available from all over the globe. This Amino Anhydrous stim is a totally natural Betaine liquid and is one of the best examples on the market today.
