All this makes for a susuperb additive for year-round baits.
Spirulina will also darken your mix it is a natural way to colour your baits, whilst adding all the benefits at the same time.

Tips
- Remember our sweet whey powder can be used to add binding to any mix. Start by adding 5% – 50g per kg mix, you can then adjust accordingly. Adding more will increase the binding, vice versa adding less will decrease the break down time. This is to be added to the dry mix, then mixed very well before wetting.
- We recommend slowly adding water/liquid additives to any mix, be careful not to add too much water. A nice fluffy texture that still breaks down is ideal. Too much water can make a mix go hard. More water can always be added if required, but it can’t be removed.
- 1L pump spray bottle is ideal for wetting mixes, also great for mixing liquid additives with water before wetting mix.
- Once desired texture is achieved keep in an air tight bucket/container, this helps stop it from drying out.

Our Premium Fishmeal Groundbait has been formulated with a mixture of high quality fishmeal’s, along with a mixture of highly attractive additives and feed stimulants. Not only does this mix contain Green lipped mussel it also includes Krill meal, both are absolutely rammed with attraction. They are extremely well know for there outstanding results. If that isn’t enough we have also added the most pungent and powerful soluble fishmeal attractor available, which has created a seriously devastating groundbait. Suitable for inclusion in any groundbait as a bulking agent or as a stand alone ground bait due to its highly attractive colour. Bread crumbs have been used in the fishing bait industry since day one. Use up to 50% in groundbaits/stick mixes and up to 10% in boilie mixes.

Potassium Sorbate (E202)

The options may be chosen on the product pagePotassium sorbate (E202) is present in many human food stuffs and drinks. It has also been tested as safe to use in aquatic environments. Can be used by dissolving in to your liquids/liquid egg to preserve your boilie and paste mixes. Potassium sorbate is ideal to use in boilies as it survives the boiling process – it has a melting point of 134°C and a boiling point of 228°C…well above the temperature of boiling baits.
Recommended inclusion level is 0.1% of your liquid. (450ml liquid – 1g potassium sorbate). You can also add citric acid which will increase the preserving properties. When using potassium sorbate we advise testing small batches to see how long your unique mix with stay preserved.
It is also important to remember the main part of the process is to dry your baits well prior to storing, usually a minimum of 48hrs, it can be slightly longer in the colder months due to extra moisture being in the air, the longer your baits are dried the less the moisture content will be helping to prevent mould growth.
