    This method mix with betaine has been put together to ensure a firm-binding mix that can be cast considerably further than most standard method mixes. With the purest available betaine, highest quality milk powders and creamy enhancers incorporated into the mix, this is a carpet feed that fish find almost irresistible. Can be balled, cupped, used in method feeder, used as a stick mix or as a paste.

    Tips

    •  Remember our sweet whey powder can be used to add binding to any mix. Start by adding 5% – 50g per kg mix, you can then adjust accordingly. Adding more will increase the binding, vice versa adding less will decrease the break down time. This is to be added to the dry mix, then mixed very well before wetting.
    • We recommend slowly adding water/liquid additives to any mix, be careful not to add too much water. A nice fluffy texture that still breaks down is ideal. Too much water can make a mix go hard. More water can always be added if required, but it can’t be removed.
    • 1L pump spray bottle is ideal for wetting mixes, also great for mixing liquid additives with water before wetting mix.
    • Once desired texture is achieved keep in an air tight bucket/container, this helps stop it from drying out.

    These premium grade stick & bag mixes have been formulated with the highest quaintly ingredients and additives available. This mix has been crammed with a variety of premium grade fishmeal’s, some being 100% soluble adding instant attraction, if this isn’t enough we have also added Full fat GLM & Premium grade PET krill meal.We have also incorporated some semi buoyant ingredients allowing the mix to leave a trail of attraction through the water column, along with some of our in-house mini ultra mix pellet which offers a whopping 9 different pellets all with different break down times, keeping the fish grubbing around.     Spirulina is a natural blue-green micro algae which grows naturally in lakes, it has a protein content of approximately 60%, it is also extremely rich in the antioxidants which helps fish fight diseases and has an excellent source of nutrients, B vitamins and minerals. All this makes for a susuperb additive for year-round baits.

    Spirulina will also darken your mix it is a natural way to colour your baits, whilst adding all the benefits at the same time.

    Potassium sorbate (E202) is present in many human food stuffs and drinks. It has also been tested as safe to use in aquatic environments. Can be used by dissolving in to your liquids/liquid egg to preserve your boilie and paste mixes. Potassium sorbate is ideal to use in boilies as it survives the boiling process – it has a melting point of 134°C and a boiling point of 228°C…well above the temperature of boiling baits.

    Recommended inclusion level is 0.1% of your liquid. (450ml liquid – 1g potassium sorbate). You can also add citric acid which will increase the preserving properties.  When using potassium sorbate we advise testing small batches to see how long your unique mix with stay preserved.

    It is also important to remember the main part of the process is to dry your baits well prior to storing, usually a minimum of 48hrs, it can be slightly longer in the colder months due to extra moisture being in the air, the longer your baits are dried the less the moisture content will be helping to prevent mould growth.

    A rather new feed inducing stimulant used in carp fishing. This ultra soluble (80%/90%), highly attractive and very digestible powder is one not to be over looked. It will enhance the palatability which in turn creates a much higher feed intake. This extremely attractive powders is packed with free form L-amino acids; up to around 50% making it a great addition to any formulation.

    We have formulated a premium grade additive in-house. It contains a mixture of the highest quality additives available. One being a very high grade, high nucleotide yeast which consists of the cell contents and the cell walls of brewers’ yeast. These are extracted by gentle and effective hydrolysis processes from their natural matrix so that the individual cell components are able to optimally take their full effects and become easily available. This fantastic bait boost powder has also been formulated with two other additives that offer a very, very powerful antibacterial and anti fugal properties. The last two additives are a highly attractive feed stimulant with a mixture of sweetener’s. This is a definite for a long term bait, this will not only offer attraction and improve feed intake but will also help with protection from bacterial infections. This additive offers such a wide range of benefits for the welfare of the fish, helping them thrive, protecting them from disease and improving feed intake.
