Micronized Maize Meal (Newly Sourced)

Micronized Maize meal is mainly used in ground baits and method mixes. Made by grinding maize it has a white and yellow speckled appearance and a coarse texture. Can also be used in base mixes.
(Micronized) means it has had some form of heat treatment (usually infra red) this enables more of the nutrients to become available.
Recommend inclusion level is up to 10% – (100g) per kg base mix.

Spirulina

The options may be chosen on the product pageSpirulina is a natural blue-green micro algae which grows naturally in lakes, it has a protein content of approximately 60%, it is also extremely rich in the antioxidants which helps fish fight diseases and has an excellent source of nutrients, B vitamins and minerals. All this makes for a susuperb additive for year-round baits.
Spirulina will also darken your mix it is a natural way to colour your baits, whilst adding all the benefits at the same time.
Recommend inclusion level is up to 5% (50g) per kg base mix.

Monosodium Glutamate – MSG (Food Grade)

The options may be chosen on the product pageMSG (Monosodium Glutamate) is derived from fermented seaweed a well-known feeding trigger and taste enhancer, much like salt. This is used to enhance the taste of foods and now well used in the bait industry, it intensifies the taste of amino acids making it a great addition to any bait.
Recommended inclusion level is 0.4% to 0.5% (4-5g) per Kg of base mix. We advise not going over the recommend levels.

Potassium Sorbate (E202)
Price range: £4.49 through £199.99 Select options This product has multiple variants. The options may be chosen on the product pagePotassium sorbate (E202) is present in many human food stuffs and drinks. It has also been tested as safe to use in aquatic environments. Can be used by dissolving in to your liquids/liquid egg to preserve your boilie and paste mixes. Potassium sorbate is ideal to use in boilies as it survives the boiling process – it has a melting point of 134°C and a boiling point of 228°C…well above the temperature of boiling baits.
Recommended inclusion level is 0.1% of your liquid. (450ml liquid – 1g potassium sorbate). You can also add citric acid which will increase the preserving properties. When using potassium sorbate we advise testing small batches to see how long your unique mix with stay preserved.
It is also important to remember the main part of the process is to dry your baits well prior to storing, usually a minimum of 48hrs, it can be slightly longer in the colder months due to extra moisture being in the air, the longer your baits are dried the less the moisture content will be helping to prevent mould growth.

Bait Boost Powder

We have formulated a premium grade additive in-house. It contains a mixture of the highest quality additives available. One being a very high grade, high nucleotide yeast which consists of the cell contents and the cell walls of brewers’ yeast. These are extracted by gentle and effective hydrolysis processes from their natural matrix so that the individual cell components are able to optimally take their full effects and become easily available. This fantastic bait boost powder has also been formulated with two other additives that offer a very, very powerful antibacterial and anti fugal properties. The last two additives are a highly attractive feed stimulant with a mixture of sweetener’s. This is a definite for a long term bait, this will not only offer attraction and improve feed intake but will also help with protection from bacterial infections. This additive offers such a wide range of benefits for the welfare of the fish, helping them thrive, protecting them from disease and improving feed intake.
